Loyal and long term customer no more! I have been taking my vehicles to the Arvada Car Wash and Detail Shop for years. Sadly, I have noticed a decline in quality and care. Over the last several months I have had to ask to have my truck rewashed multiple times because it just wasnt clean. Today I made my almost weekly stop. In addition to the typical grime and dirt, my truck was covered in bugs from a recent road trip. The staff recommended that I take advantage of a special they had going on the Express Detail. This service was supposed to include a wash to get all the bugs off, hand wax and clean the interior for $75. Thinking it would be nice to have a clean truck for $75, I left it with them. I got a call saying it was done about 1 hour later. I went back, paid for the detail and then went and looked at my truck - big mistake! The first thing I noticed was a dent in the hood, which was not there when I dropped it off. As I continued looking at the truck, I could see it was still covered in bugs and dirty. I brought this to the attention of one of the staff who comments on my truck every time I bring it in. He went and got the manager, Ron. After Ron looked over it, he instantly said that dent couldnt have happened there. None of their tools they use could do that. Then he continued looking over the truck and agreed that it was sloppy work. Ron went and brought out a guy that I thinks he said was Chris, which supposedly did the detail. After lots of back and forth between the two of them, working on getting the bugs off and cleaning the areas that were missed, Ron came over and tried to explain that this dent couldnt have happened at his store. He claimed that it looked more like a dent that was caused by large hail. I explained to him that if it was hail, there would be more than just this one dent -my truck would be covered in similar dents. Plus, I havent been in hail with this truck since I bought it. He came back with the response, "If I was going to damage a vehicle then I would do more than just that one spot". Not believing that he just said that to me, I asked him, "So what are we going to do about this?" He said that he was going to call their window company, see what they could do and would call me to let me know. I asked him why a window company and his response was, "They work on dents too" As I left, I noticed a white liquid running around my passenger side floor mat. I instantly turned around went back and found Ron. I showed him that and when he pulled out my floor mat he dumped about a 1/8 of a cup of what he called “detail fluid" off of it. He went and got the same guy as before and asked him about that. His response was “it usually just dries" After further inspection my back seat floor mats where the same way, so once again Ron and the detailer start working on my truck. After they were done, I told Ron that I was very disappointed in this experience and I dont understand how they could charge what they do, offer poor service and be ok with it although I can still see all sorts of bugs on my truck. He said that if I wasnt happy he would rewash and wax it again as he understood my concern. Im still left wondering why it wasnt done right the first time. I did not take him up on his offer to do it again as I wanted to wait and see what the outcome was going to be with the dent. Ron called me about 2 hours later and said that he had talked it over with the owner and the most he was going to do was give me a free wash and wax. Needless to say, this has cost them a client that has done business with them for years, referred several people to them and purchased many gift certificate/wash packages as gifts for friends. It looks like this $75 special is going to cost me 3 to 4 times that by the time it is all said and done just repairing my truck....AND, it still isn’t clean.

Ive been a loyal customer to Arvada Car Wash for years. Unfortunately no longer. I have had full details done numerous times on numerous vehicles and for the $220 price the quality of work has declined over the last 2 years. The word DETAIL means just that! The basics of any detail is cleaning obvious places that the customer will see. Like the WINDOWS. Inside & out. My last 2 details I have noticed they pay little to NO attention to basics like the windows. Film is left on the inside of the windows, wax and polish spots caked in the edges & all over the outside of the window. If you leave anything in the pockets of the doors or seats it is usually carelessly tossed into a pile on the seat or the floor & left for you to deal with. The detail shop is extremely unorganized. It took over 4 hours to finish my job while I waited for my vehicle. Completely unacceptable. I watched the 2 guys go from one vehicle to the next and back & forth and finish 6 other cars that were getting lesser services in the time I sat there waiting. 2 guys should be able to finish a full detail in no more than an hour. Instead they do a little on one car, then a little on the next car and then back to mine. Then they go to lunch or out to smoke. They take a break every 10 minutes and in the end expect a big tip. I feel ripped off, I feel cheated and I feel like this place honestly doesnt care! They got my money & thats all that matters to them! Never again! Due to the decline in quality of your management, your employees, your lack of training employees and your complete lack of care to a loyal customer, now I have the hassle of finding a new detail shop that WILL pay attention to DETAIL! Good Bye Arvada Car Wash!

I went in and came out with scratches on my interior drivers side window and epoxy on my windshield! Although they have very friendly staff their work is very poor. I went in with a coupon to a interior and exterior carwash in addition I had some chips repaired in my windshield. All looked good when I left, but when I got home noticed that some of the epoxy (or whatever they fill in the cracks with) was smeared on the top of my windshield. Not a huge deal, a razor can fix that, but what cant be easily fixed is the 35 little white indents in my interior tinted window. It looks as though something repeatedly hit my window and left these little indents. Along with the white spots I now have two new scratches in my tint as well! When I brought this to their attention they said they didnt know what happened and havent seen it in 19 years and refused to offer me anything. Be careful, these people are not professional when something goes wrong.
