WARNING: READ THIS BEFORE YOU WORK WITH ROOFCORP OF METRO DENVER INC. I had high hopes for working with Roofcorp on the replacement of my roof and gutters, replacement windows, painting and more. They were a referral from my dad, but I also checked the online reviews and they looked good. However, I do not recommend working with them. I stopped working with them after the roof and gutter were done and will complete the rest of the work with another company. I am a real estate industry professional in full disclosure. I will give you my true actual experience and you can decide if you would want to be treated the same way. Matt Canner, the Roofcorp sales rep. I worked with was late to the first appointment with my insurance adjuster. He didnt come out prior to the appointment to inspect anything or try to be prepared for the adjuster even though I brought it up and asked. He took notes as the adjuster worked, but never produced his own estimate for the work that was to be completed by his company. Instead he relied completely upon the insurance estimate as his working estimate. I thought this was strange, but I have never been through an insurance claim on a property before, so I wasnt sure at the time. I did ask a couple of times for his estimate and he just replied that Roofcorp and my insurance company use the same estimation software, so there would be no difference. Now I know better. Despite my asking that he copy me on all communications with my insurance company, Matt submitted documents and negotiated with my insurance company without my knowledge. In fact, I verified with a certain window company that they had not supplied any quotes to Roofcorp for windows, yet Matt/Roofcorp submitted a fabricated window statement (handwritten) to my insurance company and represented it as actual. I have a huge problem with this. After I realized the window statement had been fabricated, I decided I would settle up on the roof and gutters and no longer work with them. When it came time to pay the bill, Matt attempted to claim credit for all kinds of work that his company didnt complete. Such as priming and painting and truck rentals that were in other line items and accounted for already. He claimed he special ordered gutters with my paint color, when the choices were standard colors and tried to charge extra for painting them. (They painted nothing!) It was absolutely astonishing to watch the crooked, dishonest behavior, and it was shameless too! I had to go through the estimate and dispute all kinds of charges to get the bill down closer to what the contract price I signed was. It still came in over the contract price btw. When I disputed the charges, he accused me of "nickel and diming" his company. He came out to the property one time, the first appointment, and that was it. How the heck would he know what was done and what wasnt...the truth is he didnt know, he just attempted to claim anything he could on the insurance estimate to drive up the bill. There were over $1,000 is fabricated charges on work they didnt do, but claimed they did. As far as Im concerned, I was over-charged for the level of service I received, and for the time I had to spend disputing charges; it wasnt worth working with Roofcorp. I was cheated out of money, time and what should have been a pleasurable experience. They are ethically challenged to say the least. Roofcorp - before you call me a liar or try to dispute what Ive said here, you better know I am a master of documentation, I can prove everything Ive said, so watch out! If you want to make this right; you know how to reach me. Dont call; email; I want to continue my paper trail.

2105 Update: I had another home (an investment rental property) under contract in the Spring of 2015, and we noticed hail damage shortly before our scheduled closing. Roofcorp stepped up to the urgency, and worked with my insurance company and my tenant to get a whole roof replacement done in time for closing, and to make sure that I had only negligible out of pocket expenses. In short, they made my head ache go away. Truly amazing service, and of course the roof job itself was outstanding - my tenant was thrilled. You cant go wrong with this company! Roofcorp was outstanding - I had a home under contract last December. We were days away from closing when the buyer demanded that we replace a section of roof, and the deal was threatening to fall through. The weather was lousy, and much of the roof was snow-covered, but Roofcorp stepped up and completed the job in time for closing. I got fantastic service, knowledgeable and helpful professionals who advised on what needed to be done for the repair, and a super-competitive price. Roofcorp even went out of its way to spot repair sections of the roof that I hadnt even asked them to replace. They did that just to make sure that my buyer would have no other fault to find with the roof, and they did it for free!! I was truly impressed, and wont even consider any other roofing company in the future, and Ill be recommending them to anyone who has a roofing need.

I hired Roofcorp to replace my roof due to hail damage on 5/28/16. They Jon Wagner seemed nice until I had a problem. His crew dropped gallon bucket of tar off roof and did over $3,000 in damage. They didnt inform me of error, but they tried to cover up job by spray painting my 5 year old siding. The gutters are still not draining correctly. I asked to call a meeting with supervisor, Jon, and crew to review damage, and worker yelled at me and told me my house was just dirty. He screamed at me. I finally had to tell him to leave my property. It took the owner a month to come out to my property to view damage because he "didnt want to argue" with me. I wanted siding replaced, the gutters fixed, the damage to my wood trim fixed, the new storm door replaced, all the misc colored trim they used all over my house fixed, and the peeling roof fixed. Owner was upset with me for posting reviews and contacting BBB. I would think twice before using company. They still have not done anything or tried to fair resolution.

In all honesty, my roofing and the insurance situation surrounding its repair were probably the most difficult job in all of the state of colorado. Alan and his crew were the only people capable and patient enough to get the job done, and get it done right. I am not exaggerating when I say these guys are the best in the business. Only their crew had the skills and bravery to get this job done and done well. I know I could never expect the kind of customer service in the face of massive difficulty that RoofCorp provided from any other company under the sun. Thanks Alan and Crew, thanks Jose! You guys did a spectacular job that I know I could never get done right by anyone else. Bravo! Ryan W. Anderson

This review is coming from a slightly different perspective. I had my own painting company here in Denver and always had my clients ask me if I knew a reputable roofing company. I met Jon Wagner with Roofcorp 6 years ago and referred a client over to them and they re-roofed the house while I was painting it. Since then, Ive referred dozens of clients to Roofcorp. I was always impressed with Jon and his customer service for my customers. Since Im referring another local contractor I always wanted to make sure that they were of the highest integrity and quality. Roofcorp has always delivered. I have and will always refer Roofcorp to everybody I know. Thanks!
