By far the worst customer service I have ever received. I unfortunately had a screen crack on a mytouch slide. I brought it to CPR - Repair and a new screen was ordered and replaced. The work was not done correctly leaving the lower right corner of the screen exposed. I had to make a call after the gym when a bead of sweat hit the screen and went under the exposed section of the screen. This caused the touch screen to malfunction. I was still within my 6 month warranty period so I called to see if I needed to schedule a time to bring the phone in. Upon calling the individual that I was speaking with automatically started making accusations that I was being fraudulent. As fraud had nothing to do with the initial question of "do I need to make an appointment to bring it in" this defiantly threw me off. I went down to the store to talk with them in person and before even taking the phone apart to see what the problem was the technician automatically said that it was water damage and that it would not be covered under the warranty. I left the phone there and promptly called the owner. In my conversation with Mrs. Steed she was caught in 3 separate lies. Stating to me that the phone had been taken apart and the water markers were set off. She then passed the phone to the technician who verified that he had not taken the phone apart yet. So to prove a point they took the phone apart while on the phone with me only to confirm that the water markers had not been set off. Mrs. Steeds explained then that it is not uncommon for a drop of rain to destroy a phone. I am no expert but I would have to assume that this is very unlikely. Mrs. Steed refused to acknowledge that if the repair had been done right this would not have happened. She could only find unrelated excuses to throw out during our 20 minute conversation. One point that she did make and made very clear is that other companies would come to the same conclusion. Long story short they refused to back up their guarantee. Even someone that doesn’t know the first thing about cell phones would still come to the conclusion that this occurred due to their poor work. After Mrs. Steed promptly and rudely hung up the phone I decided that I would challenge the remark that she had made “all companies would come to this conclusion.” I called every cell phone repair shop in Colorado Springs and told them my story. All of the shops disagreed with Mrs. Steeds claim and every single shop shared the fact that in the business CPR Cell Phone Repair is considered a joke and that they are tired of them lying to customers and charging for things that do not need to be repaired. At one shop in particular (Cell phone repair at AT&T) the man was so upset by the treatment that he offered to repair my phone for free once I picked it up from CPR Cell Phone Repair. They have lost a customer with this one and I would not recommend this shop even to an enemy. Do not use this company!! An additional Note - The comment "The Rest of the Story" is completely inaccurate. This was updated after contact was made to the CEOs and Franchise Director of the company. The only person to offer free replacement was the owner of Cell phone repair at AT&T not CPR Cell Phone Repair. CPR Cell Phone repair only offered excuses, no resolution. With the way CPR Cell Phone Repair offers "customer service" they would be better off in an industry servicing animals. But then again I wouldn’t even treat my dog the way they treated me.

Gratefully I walked out of here, $150 later, with a working phone with all my data. HOWEVER, their customer service was poor and their work ethic is questionable. Their prices are too high for what they actually do. I took my phone with a blacked out screen to get the data backed up, extracted, retrieved etc... when I picked it up the first time, they said my data was exported to the SD card, when I tried to import it, the data was from 2008, not 2014! I showed the tech and he said he couldnt do anything about it, although I had paid $80 to get my data, assuming all current data on the phone, right? I also spoke with 3 different gentlemen, who kept giving me their version of what they thought I had requested, although the invoice clearly read "wants phone data". I was asked to take a USB drive so they could back up the phone data to it and then I would be responsible to do the rest. No bueno. Two days after, I took them a new phone in order to switch screens and get my OLD phone back with the data. Of course it worked, so all the other BS they did and charged me for was for nothing. I got charged $55 for the screen switch, when a video on Youtube shows that it only takes 7 minutes to do this. I still have the flash drive with ALL my info, sure... its nothing that I couldnt have done if I would have connected my phone to my PC and copied the folders. The only reason they charge me $55 was because I "sold" them my 1 year old T-Mobile My Touch Slider with accessories and in the box for $20!!!! yeah $20! I wonder how much they are selling it for.... The unfortunate part about this, is that this place is about the only place in Colorado Springs where you can take your phone to get fixed... I couldnt find anywhere else to take it but here. Crossing my fingers for no more broken phones :(

I went to AT&T to see if they could fix my camera on my Galaxy Note 4 and was directed by a fellow there to go to CPR. I took their advice because AT&T has always helped me out and so I went to CPR and talked to Bob, who helped me quite a bit and even repaired my broken screen protector for a lot cheaper than anywhere else and he even gave me a deal on the type of screen saver it was. Incredibly convenient and very helpful! After signing my phone over to him he told me it would be about an hour long before getting my phone back to me (it was 2pm when my girlfriend and I got there and the projected time was to come back at 3pm to recieve my phone) this I wasnt even bothered by due to understanding how electronics and repairs go, I was just excited to get it fixed! My girlfriend and I had just gotten back to my house when I was called back to get my phone which was 22 minutes after I dropped the phone off! They fixed it incredibly fast, I was pretty surprised! Drove back over to their location on N academy Blvd and talked to Bob who helped me in a very professional manner and was very polite. He showed me my phone and had me run through the cameras different settings to make sure it worked and then showed me my old screen protector and the new one he had placed on my phone, this thing looks brand new and the camera is just as great as when I first took it out of the box! Over all a 100% satisfied experience with how fast they fixed it and how professional Bob was. If you have any need for repairs on your phone I suggest strongly to go there! Thank you for fixing my phone before my deployment! Travis McGray
