Mixed experiences overall in my five or six visits, so Ill split the review. The Good: Ive generally found the barbers easy to communicate with about my desired style, skilled, and friendly. I havent left with a bad haircut, though occasionally it gets a little shorter than desired when all is said and done. Neck shaves have been good and close, rinses are a good temperature. Beer or wine is included in the cost. The Bad: Theres been a bit of inconsistency in the skill of the barber; on my most recent visit I asked for a hard part, and while the part itself was very neat, I had cuts from the razor top to bottom and it bled slightly -- it also burned like hell to get shampoo in it during the rinse. I was worried that if I brought it up too soon, the barber would get in trouble, so I left it for this later review. The beer has been unavailable on two of my visits, once due to frozen lines I think, but it seems ironed out. Its just unfortunate to pay a higher price for a haircut and not get a beer. Granted, they are using locally brewed Bristol, which isnt a bad marketing call, but the beer itself is lackluster, to say the least. At least its not Red Leg. Overall: The price is reasonable ($25 mens cut, walk ins sometimes available). The cut is usually good, but the business feels a little inconsistent in general. For another $10, one of this barbers competitors might be a better call, and for $10 less, you can get a much less pleasant experience at a Supercuts or what have you.

I had a "hair emergency" after a bad at home hair coloring and called seeking a same day appointment. The girl who answered the phone was very nice and got me in at 6 pm that evening. I was only really expecting to get a cut to take off the split ends, hoping my purple shampoo at home would get out the brassiness and yellow color the dye left behind on my blonde locks. I was warmly greeted by the staff as I walked in and told that Rachel was going to be my stylist. She was very friendly and professional. I mentioned how the brassiness and color really bothered me and she tells me she can help me tone it to get it to a more platinum blonde. I was like awesome! Lets get this fixed as i was also going back to start school the next day. Rachel used a cream toner and really worked at getting it to settle perfect all over my hair. The color came out gorgeous! She then gave me the best haircut Ive ever had in my life! Rachel also helped my daughter who was asking about getting a little more volume into her hair and since my daughter was driving I enjoyed some white wine during my visit :) Im so happy Ive found a stylist that really knows how to color blonde and do awesome cuts! Rachel is absolutely amazing! Love her!

MEDIOCRE HAIR CUTS AND RIP OFF BARBERSHOP. Received THREE MEDIOCRE HAIRCUTS from this place. DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP AS THE OWNERS RIPPED ME OFF and they seem to have no problem doing that. I have 5 unused vouchers each with a value of $20 to apply for a haircut, so a total of $100 in vouchers with no expiration date. The owners REFUSE TO HONOR these vouchers so trying to steal the value of $100 in vouchers from me. Wouldnt be so bad if I didnt pay anything for them, but I paid a total of $50 for these vouchers. Nice owners, STEALING $50 CASH PAID FOR VOUCHERS. Lowest of low-life business people. RESPONSE TO OWNERS RESPONSE - Really, offering me 25% off one $25 haircut which is only worth about $6 is supposed to make up for $50.00 paid for the vouchers ????? So you want me to pay $50.00 for a $6 discount. That speaks for itself, especially for the amount of BAD WILL THESE OWNERS WANT TO CREATE. Youll never see me back there. If I received more than a MEDIOCRE HAIRCUT the three times I was there, I would have been more eager to use the vouchers in the past. I would not recommend that anyone else use this "shop" for many reasons.

I went there at 7 pm, and they dont close until 8 pm. Most of the barbers were cutting hair but one finished around 7:20. He just messed around ignoring me like he didnt want to cut my hair. Another barber finished around 7:35 and when he walked past I asked him a question but he ignored me and kept walking. Not one time did anyone that worked there ask me anything or converse with me. If one of them wouldve talked to me and told me to come back the next day or something, then I wouldnt have a problem. Shitty customer service....never going back. Edit- I didnt know that you needed a reservation to get a haircut, but with that being said I still wasnt greeted by anyone. All it wouldve taken, was for one of the employees to inform me that its reservation only. 45 min later I end up walking out. Im pretty sure it was this location, but theres always the possibility im wrong.

Worst haircut experience of my whole life. She cut the back of my neck bad, and told me she didnt see anything. Theres a huge red mark on my neck that hurts really bad, which i saw after I left. She then washed my hair with freezing cold water. I have no idea what her name was, all I know is she had a speech impediment. She also asked me weird questions, like "Have you been arrested," And the entire time she was texting on her phone. Absolutely terrible experience, I would not recommend this place and I will never be going back. Im sure shell know who I am if she reads this, and you didnt deserve the $5 I tipped you for your terrible service. I would be a lot less pissed if you hadnt cut my neck and then lied about it. The finished haircut wasnt awful, but I wouldnt go through that experience again even if you were the best hair stylist in the world.

I give this shop 0 stars I had to select 1 star because I could not post with selecting at least 1. The experience was horrible. I went in with my 3 boys and the first questionwas if I had a reservation. There was nobody in the shop, so I made an appointment for an hour later. I returned got my haircut which was substandard but they refused to take my kids after I made an appointment. I ended up going to stetson hills classic barber. I paid 22.00 at locals just for my cut, I went to classic barber paid 30.00 for my 3 boys w military discount. Locals states they offer military discount which they did not honor and they state walkins welcome which they make you make a reservation and still refused to cut my kids hair. Dont waste your time go somewhere else. Locals is overpriced and quality is crap.

Cool vibe. Unfortunately super unprofessional. My hair dresser Sam walked away from me at least three times to talk to friends or coworkers from what I heard petty non work related things. They also offer free beer, but apparently you need to request it or its offered as youre walking out the door. The hair dresser next to me enforces the unprofessionalism with a belly shirt and her boobs hanging out. The I experience of my hair dresser really showed by her lack of knowledge for drying hair as she burned my head multiple times. She also kept me there for an hour just to get a trim because she spent 40 min drying and curling my already naturally curly hair. At least the cut was only mediocre. Steer clear of Sam unless you want to be burned and ignored.
