Im glad to see other people have had good experiences with these guys, however I did not. I had a truly miserable experience with this company. Should your experience be anything like mine, you will wish youd hired someone else. I found Gentle Hands through a LivingSocial deal, 2 hours of moving with 3 movers for $249. Seemed reasonable to me, so I bought it and called them. I spoke with Don, who was professional enough on the phone, and scheduled me for a move at 2pm on a Friday. I would have liked Saturday instead, but they were totally booked, so I decided to take a vacation day to get the move done. Wanting to make the most of the time that I had the guys, I boxed up everything in the house that could be, and started making runs to my new place the day of the move. By noon, I had moved all of the small things, and all that was left was the big stuff (my beds, desk, furniture, ect), and the remaining boxes. At 1pm, only an hour before they were supposed to arrive, Don called me to say that the move they were doing before mine was taking longer than expected. At first, he asked if we could reschedule the move to Sunday. That was not an option for me, so he said that theyd be there but it would be late. How late? 6pm. Alright, saying youre going to be 4 hours late only an hour before you show up is pretty bad, but it was a hot day, and knowing itd be cooler in the evening, I said ok. Its worth noting that Don thanked me for being so understanding, and said hed bring an extra two movers from another job so they could get it all done. So, lets fast forward to 6 pm. Don had said that they might arrive as late as 6pm. So, in my head I was thinking, they will probably be here at 6. At 6, no one was here. At 6:15, I tried calling (no answer). I also tried calling at 6:30, 6:35, 6:40, 6:50, and 7:30. There were a few more calls mixed in there too. Don never picked up. Also, I was unable to leave a voicemail because its totally full. When did I finally hear back? I didnt. They never returned my calls, they never showed up, and I had to hire some day laborers and rent a truck the next day to help me move all of my remaining items. Also, I had to sleep at a friends house, because bed and sheets were in totally different locations. These dipshits ruined what should have been an exciting day, and never even called to make it right. Sure, your experience may differ substantially, but with so many well respected moving companies in the area, do you really want to take the chance?

TL;DR: 10/10 would hire again, and recommend to anyone. AMAZING people! After an unfortunate experience with another Denver moving company that left me in need of an emergency piano move, I called Gentle Hands. I first spoke with Ben, who was an absolute joy; he arranged for a truck to meet me within the hour (seriously, made my day). After waiting 2 hours for the-other-moving-company-that-shall-not-be-named to no call/no show, I was unhappy and weary. I called Ben probably 5+ times in the course of two hours to pester him with questions and he was helpful, patient and kind every time. I cannot say enough about his professionalism and quality customer service. Everything got even better with Nick and Jeremiah. They coordinated via phone with me (back at work at this point), my mom (at the delivery house) and my real estate agent (at the pick-up house). They handled that mess with ease, and carefully moved my late grandmothers 1920s piano with the utmost care. They were wonderful to work with, polite and extremely competent. I would recommend them to anyone, anytime. Best of all, they quoted a price hundreds of dollars less than the previous moving company. Highly impressed with their fairness. Trust this company. They know how to treat their customers and they know how to do their jobs.

Gentle Hands Moving are the worst movers Ive ever experienced working with. Within 5 minutes of being at my home one of the movers began carelessly stacking boxes onto a dolly and the boxes toppled over, which had "fragile" written on them and filled with glass. Shortly afterwards, a different mover dropped a glass lamp and shattered it. I also had a sentimental poster from The Masters golf tournament in a nice wood frame that came back dented, along with damage to our coffee table that was laying upside down with no added protection in the truckbed! Finally, about one hour into the move one of the dollies broke which added to the overall time of moving. When I called the company to tell them of the broken lamp I was astonished of their customer service. Not one apology was said to me, instead he said to me, "well the movers told us the hallways are really long." What does that have to do with anything! And they would only take off half the value of the lamp from the final total because it didnt meet their insurance amount. This place is the worst!

Carlos, Juan, and Alberto were incredible! Very quick and efficient. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for movers. They made sure they got everything out of the old apartment, and asked where to place everything in the new one. My only problem- this was my first time hiring movers and was unsure about how long it would take. The company has a two hour minimum and they finished everything in an hour, flat. But I still had to pay for two hours. It would be nice if they could have taken a little off the top. I understand that the minimum makes sure their time isnt wasted, but even a 10% discount for coming so far under time wouldve been nice. Thats a recommendation to the higher-ups in the company. Again, the crew that helped me was fantastic and quick.

I am an estate liquidator who frequently works for bank trust departments. This morning I met 4 incredible young men from Gentle Hands Moving who came to move a piano that sold in a recent estate sale. They called in advance to let me know they were coming, and they showed up on time. The four young men, Russell, Braxton, Joell and Eric were extremely professional and courteous. They made the job of moving an antique piano look simple. They took great care to make sure that the piano was not damaged, and brought it up a flight of stairs with ease. And the did all of this in a very short span of time. I have several of their cards which I plan to give to future customers of mine when in need of a mover. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

Had a great experience with these guys. I called for a short notice move of a piano, after discussing it with them they told me a price of $250 which was out of my price range, I told them I only had 200 to my name and that I wouldnt be getting paid for two weeks, so they worked with me and dropped the price to 150. They showed up about 45 minutes later. The movers that showed up were Don, Ben, Mike, and Jordan. They had the piano in my house in no time, super professional, and very nice guys as well. I cant speak more highly of my experience.
