I recently brought in a $300 BCBG jumpsuit to be altered by Sunny. The alterations were simple: shortening of the pants, small taking in at the waist, and a little shortening of the straps. Sunny said it was an easy job and it would be no problem. The alterations cost $67. When the jumpsuit was returned to me the straps had been taken in at the top of the shoulder which caused the jumpsuit to pucker underneath my armpits. This left the side of my breast exposed and clearly was unwearable. When I told Sunny she told me to bring it back in and she would fix it. When I came back in, I tried it on and she then claimed that there was nothing she could do but maybe put a dart in which would ruin the entire design. She then continued to blame the whole thing on the original designer of the suit. I told her this was an expensive jumpsuit that I now could not wear because of her alterations. She had removed fabric, and not kept it, therefore there was no way to fix the damage that had been done. When I explained all of this to her she made no offer of any kind of compensation. She refused to return anything I had been charged for the shortening of the straps, yelled at me and told me that maybe I shouldve done it myself, and to call the designer and ask them to fix it. Clearly, this woman does not take the time or effort to truly fix a piece of clothing and this kind of customer service is completely beyond anything acceptable. I am now left with an almost $400 jumpsuit that I can not wear because Sunny made a mistake and refused to take any responsibility. NEVER TRUST HER WITH YOUR CLOTHING!! And do not expect any sort of exceptional customer service. This behavior is disgusting.

My girlfriend too in two of my suits, one of which needed to have a small hole above the pocket repaired. The cleaner told her they would be ready on Wednesday. Unfortunately, I needed them earlier, and called to see if they could get them done any sooner. The woman said she could not get the repair completed earlier, because it would take her time, but said they would have my suit that just needed to be dry cleaned completed on Monday. This morning, my girlfriend went in to pick up my suit and it was not ready. They told her it would "only be a little while" and after she waited for 15 minutes with no update she left. She returned about an hour later and the suit was finally ready. They made her pay full price despite their inability to meet the deadline they said they could hold. She then asked about the other suit, and they told her it wouldnt be ready until Friday. When I called to express my discontent, the woman on the phone said the suit was ready this morning. I told her that because she failed to provide the service she guaranteed on the first suit, but did not fail to charge me full price, that I would appreciate if she either gave me a discount on my second suit or rushed its repair. When I finished explaining how I was discontent she simply asked, "Are you done?" I would normally expect some sort of apologetic tone for failing to make good on a promise, but she seemed uninterested. I requested that she perform no work on my suit and make it available for pickup at my earliest convenience. I have never had this bad of an experience with a dry cleaner, especially considering their prices are not even close to a bargain. I would not recommend anyone use this cleaner.

I went to Gold Label to preserve my wedding dress upon recommendation from the bridal shop where I purchased my dress. First off, I had to pay for the entire service ($520) up front without knowing how terrible the service would be. Next, Gold Label told me it would take around 3 months to preserve my wedding dress. It was 8 months and counting, and I had to keep calling to ask about the status of my dress. I honestly thought they lost my dress or completely ruined it and didnt want to tell me the truth! After much anticipation, I picked-up my wedding dress thinking that it was complete (silly me...). After I got home, I opened the box to check on the embroidery on the bag wrapped around the dress that I had paid for prior to the service. Not surprising, they didnt embroider the bag like I had asked them to and paid for up front! I called Gold Label to let them know that I would be going back to the shop to receive my money back for the embroidery (at this point, I just wanted my dress safe and sound in my house...I couldnt care less about the embroidery). The owner called me back and left a message saying that she actually forgot to finish stitching the back of the dress prior to preserving it! So, I have to take the dress BACK so she can finish stitching the dress! After all this time and aggravation, she didnt even finish the dress! And, if I had not called about the embroidery, she probably wouldnt have even called to tell me she forgot to finish the stitching! Gold Label is completely unprofessional and a huge joke! Stay far far away unless you dont care to see your dress ever again without having to sell your first born child.

Do not bring your wedding dress here for alterations! Sunny had mine for over four months and missed the deadlines 4 times. I ended up taking my dress to another dress alterations specialist 4 days before my wedding to have the work done that Sunny promised. When I finally picked up my ‘finished’ dress it was horrible and not what I asked for or paid for at all. It was what limited amount of alterations that Sunny could do. The work that she actually did on the dress was of such poor quality, it had to be completely taken out and redone by a seamstress who knew what she was doing. She is disorganized and unresponsive to customer request. She did not care that she didnt have the work the she promised me done on time and was mad at me for asking for the money back. (Which I recieved in full!) I would not take anything to this cleaner. Bottom line is they just dont care about the customer! Updated 2017 Considering that the owner took two years to respond to my original post, shows the lack of dedication to customer service. My intentions were to warn other brides of the poor experience that I had with this store and in particular, with Sunny. She would set up appointments with me, I would show up, and the alterations were not done. This happened twice before I got the bridal shop who recommended this store involved. After failing to correctly alter the dress AGAIN , my bridal shop got me an appointment with someone else who correctly performed the alterations. Buyer beware!

My wedding gown is a custom one of a kind dress. I am a military bride who unfortunately had to leave my wedding dress behind in Colorado after our wedding. Since this dress is so special to me I brought it to Sunny on recommendation from a friend who had used someone from the association of wedding gown specialist. I originally wanted to have it cleaned, but the price was high and I wanted to have my wedding pictures retaken. So, we decided not to have it cleaned. I still needed to take it home with me to Texas so my generous mother paid $200 for Sunny to fix a few loose stones on the dress and box it up so I could carry it on the plane ( Maybe its just me but for that price does anyone expect a keepsake box?). My parents tried to pick up the dress multiple times, and the dress was not ready. When we received the dress it placed in a large cardboard box which was obviously big to be a carry on. It had a large piece of cloth sewn to the bodice and was in a plastic bag with some paper. I have since taken off the cloth and inspected the beads. They are still loose. We did contact Sunny and she said she wasnt aware I was carrying it on the plane, and she was willing to re-box it. Unfortunately, my time in Colorado was limited and I honestly didnt trust her again with my dress. The price she charged and the quality of services she provided did not meet my expectations. My dress means a lot to me as it does for every bride. My advice would be to go somewhere else.
