Went there tonight for a friends birthday party. Weve been there before and were happy to come back. A sweet young server named Jamie took our order and brought our water and soda. In a reasonable time the food showed up and I discovered my order was mixed up with someone else. No big deal, I was assured it would be back quickly. It was not. I got lots of apologies... no food. 15 minutes later our group was finishing up with their dinner and Jamie announced it would be there "in sixty seconds". It was not. Now, everyone is finished and my meal comes. She sensed I was not happy and stated shed try to get the meal comped. A few minuted later she returned with the news that hed give us a free dessert. If shes new at serving, bless her heart... shell get better. If shes been there a while, then youve got a management/training problem. Dont leave Jamie hanging out to dry Mr. Manager! Unhappy customers are YOUR job. Look around, poor service restaurants dont last long in Lone Tree.

I dont even want to give this place 1 star ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! The only good thing I can say about our experience was the hostess and waitress were great, nice and polite. But beyond that I would never recommend this place to anyone. My husband ordered a classic burrito plate and the tortilla had a huge whole in the top in which someone put a ton of cheese on it to cover the hole up and the middle of the burrito was ice cold. I ordered the Superior dinner plate and the enchilada had a finger hole in the middle of it and hair on it. When we asked to speak to the manager the hostess goes to get her and comes to tell us the manager was in the back on the line helping cook, the manager couldnt take 5 mins to come talk to us. At the time we were there the place wasnt busy what so ever. Our waitress kept apologizing to us and we just ended up leaving. This was my 1st time ever going to On The Border and definitely my last time..

My husband and I, along with other family members meet at OTB at least once every other week for their happy hour margaritas, beer and appetizers. The food was always good and the happy hour prices were also good. However, at our visit last week, we were informed that they no longer have the same happy hour specials. We were very disappointed in the fact that the same items were no longer offered and that the new item portions had been greatly reduced. In addition, the happy hour margarita beer prices has increased. Over the past seven or eight years that we have been going there, the place has always been croweded, so obviously we are not the only ones who enjoyed coming to this OTB location on a regular basis. So, why change the menu and the prices? Hopefully, they will receive enough feedback to change back the menu and the drink pricing so we dont have to find another favorite locale.

Worst service ever! Went for brunch on 7/12/2014.GF ordered Bloody Mary wasnt told there are 2 types, brunch style and regular. Needless to say we were charged the higher priced one @6.99. Her lunch was fine with exception she requested no rice and received 2 scoops of rice and no beans. Plate went back for correction. I ordered the endless tacos and not once did our server asked if I wanted more. Honestly this place has gone down the hill and service is showing this. We had a bad experience earlier this week with take out but thought it was isolated. Oh and for the record we were not tucked away in back of the restaurant, we were right behind the hostess station. We both left in discuss and for now On the Border is no longer at the top of our list! PS gave it one star as it was the lowest allowable.

The first time I had eaten at an On The Border restaurant, it was very good. Good service and atmosphere. The second time I ate at one, it was not very good at all. Our waiter was struggling a little because of being fairly new to the job. Our order also got really screwed up and really was not that great either. The manager had informed us of our order coming out without Pico De Gallo, sour cream, lettuce or tomato. I knew the order seemed a little plain. The manager offered to bring these items out but we were in a hurry and just wanted to get out of Denver. I probably will give On The Border another try but definitely not this particular one. I only gave this restaurant two stars because its been a fifty fifty experience. Hope we can give a better rating in the future.

When I arrived, the hostess told me that it would be 20 minutes before I could be seated even though there were only two other couples waiting and at least 8 open tables. Half of the open tables were still open when my food arrived while there were a lot of people waiting. Then I waited for 10 minutes before anyone even came to my table. When my server did arrive, he seemed very hurried and in a rush to leave. He took my drink order and then ran off as I tried to order my food. When I did get the food, it was mediocre at best. It tasted ok, but seemed like it was all previously frozen and reheated. Not a good experience overall and I cant recommend this place to anyone.

We have often ordered delivery through Door Dash and GrubHub from the Highlands Ranch On The Border. The last three times have always been proceeded with calls to locate missing dinners and appetizers (which at times has been very embarrassing when hosting friends for dinner and needing to share meals since someones food is missing)! Having dinner with friends tonight, our dinner was delivered at 5pm and the appetizers finally arrived at 7pm as they were paid for, but not included in the bags delivered. Third strike OTB! Does anyone double check orders before they leave the kitchen...I dont believe so. Very embarrassing and disappointing experience again!

Dont expect anything quick here. Took over 5 minutes to be even greeted by a hostess. 7 pm on a Sunday night... Dont think Im coming back to this location. Talked to our waitress (who was the only one also playing hostess, even though it was supposed to be shared by all staff members) apparently Sunday nights arent that busy normally. Seeing the manager off doing simple tasks and ignoring the growing crowd at the hostess table was off putting. Im seeing a lot of reviews here for poor service, seems to not be just Sundays. This place really needs to take a look at how its customers feel and what they can do to get it back on track.

Endless enchiladas? Then why do they tell you that you have to finish the current portion of 2, before they let you place an order for more. God forbid someone pocket 2 enchiladas in their to go box. On top of that, they take too long to get them out. All you can eat if you have 3 hours to stay. The rice and beans werent impressive or soft/creamy like they should be, and the tequila drink that supposedly only had tequila and lime juice was a third full with syrup or agave nectar. The waitress said, No, its not agave! I was thinking, hmm..the drink above it has agave nectar so it very well could be. I wasnt impressed.
