I needed to bring in my daughters Honda Accord to Lee Myes because my automatic shifter would not go into drive or reverse. This first repair cost me $368 to fix a small button device on the shifter that had worn out over time. They said that the car was fixed and to come pick it up. The very next morning, the car did the exact same thing and wouldnt shift. My daughter depends on getting to work in this car and had to make other arrangements that morning. I called them back to tell them what happened. An associate named Nick didnt seem to care that we had suffered through such an inconvenience of having to bring them back the car for the same problem. Nick re-diagnosed the shifter again and determined that more parts were needed and wanted to charge me an additional $300, mostly labor, to change out a brake switch and more internal shifter pieces. Nick never acknowledged that this should have been caught during the first diagnosis. Eventually, Yaun, (store manager) took care of the situation and waived the additional labor to install parts. Every situation is different when having to diagnose autos and I understand some problems are hard to replicate once in the shop. I usually perform repairs on my own cars but this time I had to depend on Lee Myles to get my car back on the road. Both Lee Myles and myself learned some great lessons doing business together. I recommend talking to Yaun if you run into any problems with having Lee Myles repair your car.

Charged more for simple test. Ive gone to them a couple times and each time they charge more. I understand its work on a vehicle, but I went to them thinking they would be honest like last time with my oil change. They over charged me on a tune up that would take a few hours but was done in less than two and charged $450. The time before, I went because my 4wd was on and I didnt know. I knew something was different so I took in. They said they drove it around but didnt find anything wrong. Total bullshit for a mechanic to say when you can feel the difference. They will steal your money. I thought I found a reputable mechanic but all Ive done is waste money on this terrible local business. Id rather stick with local companies but Im going else where. For my catalytic converters, they wanted $2000 to fix when I just needed an additive to clean it. And when Charlie, something like that, the owner, answers, be aware of his nice demeanor before you get work done and afterwards. I understand its a hard business, but thats why he has to act like a sales man because he knows they wont cone back so he can steal more money.

I have been going to the Lee Myles in Lakewood for over 10 years. They have always given me exceptional service. Whenever there are issues with our cars, they let us know what is wrong and the priority of getting it fixed. They have never been pushy or had high pressure sales tactics. I have had them perform diagnostics on my vehicles, and most the time if I have them fix it, they will waive the diagnostic fees. Michael is ASE certified and I trust having my vehicles in his hands. He is very professional and knowledgeable. I have never had a problem with them coming back to me with a wrong diagnosis. We have 4 vehicles and we take them all there for oil changes and preventative maintenance, as well as any repairs that need to be performed. Their pricing has always been very competitive or on the low side for the quality of work they perform. I have been a very satisfied and loyal customer for a long time and I plan on continuing to do so for years to come. I highly recommend this shop for regular service and repairs!!

I had my wifes car taken in here for the brakes last year and they broke her radio and other electrical problems. They tried to fix it but it continued having problems. I thought Id give them a second chance on fixing other car since they were close by. I took my other car for an engine noise and they recommended about $700 of work on fluids and power steering (when the steering worked fine). And after doing some of the work it sounded WORSE. Both my wife and myself noticed the noise as different than it was previously and getting worse. I had the tech ride with me to hear it and he just said its because the car was old and didnt even attempt to fix it. After being recommended for extra work that didnt need to be done now (power steering), not fixing the main problem I wanted fixed (engine noise), and causing more electrical problems on my wifes old car. I would NOT recommend this place or go back to it.

About A month ago I took my to lee Myles. My transmission tail shaft broke. They fixed that, my shift linkage, u-joint, and some other things for $2700. Two weeks later my clutch broke. They fixed that and changed the transmission fluid for $1400. Two weeks later my transmission wont go in 5th gear. There saying its going to cost $3500. When I went to pick the car up and take it to a different shop for a better price I asked what a sound was. The mechanic proceeded to cuss me out and threaten to fight me. He has been delt with according to the owner. Still I dont understand how all this work cant be related.maybe this tech that has something against me did something to my car. This should have been fixed the first time when the tail shaft broke. They are not helping in any way.

I recently took one of my cars here after meeting Nick outside of work. Im so glad I did. Not only was I treated fairly, but Nick and his team went above and beyond for me on my experience. I really appreciated the honesty of the items wrong with my car and the willingness to price out items for future work to be done but not pressuring me to try and do something. This is HUGE as a lot of places want you to do as much work as possible while you are there. It was really refreshing to have that honesty from Nick and his crew. I will continue to bring my business to them and refer anyone I know here. Regardless of the drive, they have earned my business!!!

Got an appointment for an oil change and and hood release wire and possible hood latch repair. Was charged $64 for oil change and for them to diagnose that I needed a new latch and cable for hood release. I already knew that. My quote was over $900 for rear brakes and rotors, tranny flush, and repairs on hood latch and release cable. That is outrageous. I even told the guy that I had been quoted $89 bucks from Honda dealer for cable for hood release. Thought I was trying to support local business in area. They will never see me there again and if anyone ask I will definitely tell them that Lee Myles is extremely overpriced.

Took my vehicle in for a malfunctioning emergency brake. Got it back and it still did not work properly. The owner of Lee Myles, Jon told me that "there are 2 places to make the adjustment and we adjusted the rear. If this doesnt work well have to take the console off." I decided to take it to the dealer and was told the "cable couldnt have been adjusted because it is seized." Meaning the cable needs to be replaced. I was also told that there is NOT 2 places to make this adjustment, only one. One star for lack of honesty and failure to fix problem.
