Regarding Steve Gulko: We cannot say it enough: “Thank you for all you do.” On January 25, 2014, we had planned to be in Miami by 10:45 a.m. This would give us plenty of time to board the Celebrity Reflection. Got up early to get to the airport – no problems. We boarded our flight and were then told we would have to de-board the aircraft. There were problems with the aircraft. That’s when “all hell broke loose”. We proceeded to jump through hoops, on the phone with Delta, to get booked on the next flight out to Atlanta. We did get on the next flight, but by the time we got to Atlanta, our connecting flight was in take-off mode. We came in at concourse B, and found that we had to go to concourse F for the next flight to Miami. I knew Frank could not walk that far, so grabbed a stranded wheel chair and away we went to “F “, wondering all the time why we were going out of that concourse as it is normally an international concourse. A few minutes before boarding, we found that the gate had been changed, and we were now rushing to the train to get to concourse “A” before the flight left. Whew! We made it. Now the problem was that at best, when we got to Miami, we would have 45 minutes or so to get to baggage claim, get our luggage (you know how slow that can go at times), get a taxi and get to the ship. You can imagine my joy when there was a celebrity representative waiting as we exited the plane. She said, “Do not worry; we are collecting your bags as we speak and we have transportation to the ship. Relax and let us take care of you”. We knew that you had taken care of us. We are very grateful to you for “handling” the situation for us. You truly are a professional. By the way, the room was terrific, the service was immaculate, the ship was awesome, and the music on the ship was wonderful. I did fill out the CIS survey and acknowledged the representative from the airport and the RCCL representative who found our baggage, and the stateroom attendant and butler who took such wonderful care of us to make our trip one of the best cruises. Dear Mary Jane, What a wonderful experience for a lifetime. Serengeti Safari! Thank you for taking such good care of our family and making the excellent arrangements for our trip which will forever be part of our families memorable times. After each of us being very nervous as to where we were headed our time in Tanzania was fantastic. We felt safe, enjoyed the people, and everyone we encountered along the trip including all the guides, and staff were in the end friends for life. Then there are the animals. WOW! To see them living in their natural habitat was simply amazing! I managed to upset a LION by staring at him and the roar he sent our way made everyone jump back in the Truck 2 feet to their seats. Then there was the elephant that said “close enough” and did his stump, and growl/roar looking like he was going to charge our 4 wheeler truck. There are so many stories and memories that were made that this is only a small sample. (My friends the lion and elephant are included in the pic before they got upset) I know you are planning to head over there so get ready for an awesome adventure. Once again, on behalf of Sabina and our daughters Cassandra and Victoria thank you so much for your excellent help making our 2013 Summer vacation one to be talked about over a lifetime! Im not sure if I hate this travel agency or all travel agencies. Ramon was nice on the phone- but never followed up. I had to call HIM back in order to ensure he actually booked my flight and get updates on price changes. Now that I think about it- hes yet to call me back...ever. Im not sure what the customer service mantra is here, but regardless of language quality business practices are the same worldwide. If I want to know something, let me know that day. And if you cant tell me, let me know when youll have an answer. If you drag your feet dont expect me to pay the price- youll pay it in lost business- thats a guarantee. UPDATE- 1 year later. I was recently contacted by a rep hoping to change my mind about this company by offering a discounted price due to my poor review. Since this contact, new reviews have been created (Im looking at you Mike Anderson). Maybe there was a management change recently and they are looking to create a new positive image. They may actually be providing some better service a year later. Too little too late for my $. Welcome to the 21st century Forest Travel.

I recently had to make last minute changes to travel arrangements with Forest Travel. Our initial plans were to travel to Europe mid-May and due to a family emergency in Canada, our plans were altered and I had to fly to Canada with my toddler. I contacted Chrys S. at Forest Travel, who had initially booked our trip to Europe and shared the need to alter travel plans. I was extremely pleased with Chryss professionalism, promptness and efficiency at handling my request on a Sunday morning. By Sunday late afternoon, our European travel plans were canceled and I was on a flight to Canada. Chrys at Forest Travel not only found us the best and most convenient deal, she went above and beyond by genuinly caring and providing us exceptional service. From now on, I will be booking all travel plans with Forest Travel and highly recommend them to friends and family!

I went on a wonderful group cruise with my family and friends for my sisters special bday and I must say that our travel agent, Shaun DArcy was exceptional in organizing everything in detail for everyone. We booked ten individual cabins with some being balcony and some interior and he was able to make sure that we were all on the same floor and very close to each other. We all really appreciated this detail. We were all given coupons and discounts for stuff on the ship and then was also given advice on the various ports of call that we visited. I was very impressed with Shauns professionalism and his wonderful kindness extended to us all. My experience with Forest travel was exceptional; Shaun DArcy was one of the best Travel Agents Ive ever had the pleasure to work with. I had to co-ordinate several family members and dates of travel in and out of the country and he was very courteous and prompt in answering all of my questions. Shaun took the time to go over all the dates within my itinerary and gave me many options which not only saved me money but allowed me to select my own preferences opposed to someone just choosing them for me.
