Apple one is by far a rather unprofessional organization. Of course, nowadays when the times are tough, it is hard for them to find jobs for people but if you would expect from them to jump on their feet and be more alert and more hard working in such economy - NO WAY - they would not really bother. A bunch of lazy bones. One office called me after I scheduled an interview with them and basically told me not to come as "they have nothing for me". I have a masters degree and worked as an account manager dealing with tens of thousands dollars of budgets and dealing with customers all over the world. And after that I have no qualification for a temporary reception job. Oh really? They are square and can not think outside the box. I explained to them I am looking for a temp job, anything, to pay my bills. Yet, with all my education and experience I was no good for a receptionist job proposal? Temp? Really? I have no words for these people other than "unprofessional static lazy ignorant". Very ignorant, very square mentality.

They called me in TWICE and each time I spent 2-3 hours doing stuff that could have been completed in 1 hour in ONE visit. I mostly waited in the reception area because no one came out to get me. I was LITERALLY the only one there and they had me wait 1.5 hours just to interview after I had finished everything. They were actually the ones that contacted me and encouraged me to work at a certain position..yet they NEVER have followed through. My availability was 100%, I have a solid background, and I EVEN lowered my pay rate to $10/hr. NOTHING. The man that interviewed me, instead, conned me into giving him the name of my last boss, manager of a hedge fund...great...they used me so they could call up and offer their services. Just terrible.

This place is extremely unprofessional. I JUST received a call from them, two hours before my scheduled interview and right before I was about to leave the house, telling me that they "cannot confirm my interview." They couldnt have told me this yesterday? Also, why schedule me for an interview at all? To add insult to injury, it was explained to me (in a snooty way) that I did not have enough experience for the positions they had available. When I told them that canceling at such short notice was unprofessional, she just reiterated that if I looked over their open positions I would see that I was unqualified. THEN WHY SET UP AN INTERVIEW WITH ME IN THE FIRST PLACE??? Complete waste of time and overwhelmingly rude.

Going there I didnt have high expectations especially because this was my first time visiting a staffing agency. They seemed really nice, and make you take a really unnecessary test that is insulting to the average persons intelligence, despite the amount of experience you may have. Then they interview you and promise you other test they will email you that will separate you from other candidates. Days go by and still no email. Even a follow up call and email still no response and you wont get you rolling in the process of finding a new job. I understand the market is bad, but I would rather someone be upfront rather than make empty promises.

I had used Apple One in both Florida and California and had such great experiences so of course when I moved up here in April of 07 Apple One was the first place I thought of to help me. Like others they were super nice when I was there but once I left I never had contact again, I emailed several times and left several messages with receptionist and never received a reply or call back. Until now I thought it was just me, maybe they were not impressed with me but now after reading many other emails of other people experiencing the same problems I see that is not the case. Its a shame...
