Pablo Garcia is the direct hook up for apartments in Inwood, incredibly "dialed in" to all the various areas that make Inwood such a uniquely perfect place in which to live - a real combination of cultures and careers and parks and trendy restaurants - with a big city/small neighborhood vibe. No matter how busy he was, Pablo (the realtors realtor - I was referred by another realtor for the expert hook up) made the time to truly hear me out during my frantic search for new quarters due to a mold problem in my present apartment. Mr. Garcia resolved every issue and "matched" me to the perfect apartment that meets every criteria on my list. In person, he makes a wholesome, star quality impression, has an almost celebrity type appearance (like a major league ball player, perhaps) that belies the down to earth, warm, client-first focus of his business. He was amazingly tuned into the urgency of my search and never once dismissive, no matter what he was handling, always accessible, courteous and always providing old-fashioned customer care. It wasnt cookie cutter style of dealing with a client - Pablo was genuinely working to put me into the right place, in the right environment and even went to bat for me with the landlord and super to make sure every item on my check list was handled to my satisfaction. I felt like he was really in my corner, not angling for the buck, but dedicated to fulfilling my every housing need. Pablo Garcia is Inwoods real "golden" realtor - with his finger firmly on the pulse of the neighborhoods best offerings. First-rate experience - has no equal!

I worked with Karla and within two and a half weeks she got me a spacious studio around the corner from the train. She was very honest and upfront. My budget was $1000/mo because of my salary and also I was looking during September, my opinion the worst time because of college students. She only had a few options but this one worked well. Ive been here for almost a year. What I appreciated most was how they really work For you. I looked for apartments in Brooklyn and the snagged $200 from me for a bogus application fee. I wasnt aware the difference in online banking stubs verses actual job pay stubs (young and naive) but Karla called to tell me on was on the verge of losing this apartment if I didnt forward the proper paperwork. Ever her Partner Pablo, super kind, reached out to me to pull through.y advice is to understand this is NY and rules are different and time is money. I appreciate PMG.

Baaaaad!! I got pushed into the worst building and neighborhood ever, dirty, noise, super with attitude, 7 times no hot water in 4 months, mice, no elevator for over two months, and all of that even though I made very clear what I was looking for the owner together with his co-worker Anni, somehow convinced me to rent this apt. I was there to pick up my deposit and walk away, but........! It has been hell. 2 of my neighbors are also moving out because of intimidation and problems with the building. Ah when I asked foir rent adjustment due to no elevator, the owner of PMG insulted me in every way stating that all I wanted is to not pay the rent, no that I had the lease, just because my credit rating was low. Beware of him, the agency and everyone working in it, the worst!! just to get a month fee, very sad!!

This is the first broker weve dealt with that didnt (i) start our first conversation by itemizing all the documents that would be required to apply for an apartment, (ii) launch into a high-pressure sales pitch about "first-come first serve,", or (iii) show us listings that were over our budget or that we werent interested in. Even though the listing we initially inquired about was no longer available, they negotiated with the landlord to help us get another unit in the building at a great deal on an amazing one-bedroom that was about to be renovated. They have a lot of exclusive listings in this area and are friendly, professional, and straightforward.

@Aniket, it is obvious that with no credit or real low credit it is hard to get anything, even a credit card, and PMG works with people with good credit and good income, with some exceptions. So yeah the farthest you will go is getting an room. But I personally had an excellent experience with PMG. My real estate agent Anderson Castillo was amazing. Very patience with my pickiness and after giving him a long week run he found me an excellent 2 bedrooms for me and my pets. Andderson always had a smile on his face which made me feel at ease, very professional and extremely cute ;). Thanks once again (a very happy customer)

I was referred to PMG by a friend of mine. I have to say that Pablo found me a terrific apartment in upper Manhattan. He was always available, responsive, showed me properties on the weekend, and stayed at his office late to finalize the paperwork. Anyone who has looked for an apartment in NYC knows that these qualities are hard to find in a real estate broker. He found me a great studio apartment within my price range in a safe part of the city. I had looked for weeks and didnt have any luck until I met with Pablo. I would highly recommend working with PMG Real Estate.

I was a week away from the end of my lease, and at the end of my rope when I rehired Pablo. Pablo had gotten me my previous apartment, which I loved but now had to move. I soon discovered that Pablo owns the neighborhood; he has more exclusive buildings than any other agent I worked with prior to him (and I worked with many!), everyone knows him, and he would always have a listing ready to show. Within 4 days he got me a gorgeous apartment. On top of it all, he only charged me 1 rent fee, as opposed to the ludicrous 15% usual Manhattan rate. Hire him now and be at peace!

I believed they could get me an apartment. I came on a non immigrant visa with no US credit history. I selected a place, got a certified check and gave them all the documents. However they told me that application is not approved and my 50$ application fee was down the drain. I did not even go and meet the management who owned the apartment. Then they bluntly told me they do not have another place. They returned my check. My advice to you guys is to not go to them if you have no credit history.

Ive been meaning to post something for a while. I recently moved to New York, from St. Louis. I was in a bind to find a place to live quick. I had the pleasure to work with Pablo and could not be more happy with the service and the apartment. Pablo is very knowledgeable, professional and actually assessed my needs and got me in an apartment in 2 days. This was all done while I was still living in St. Louis. I highly recommend Pablo and I think he does service all of Manhattan.

You have to take the bad with the good. They had an exquisite listing, which I took and moved into. Followup existed only when it benefited their interest. Deadlines seem like a foreign concept to them. Once they have their overpriced commission apathy sets in. Not much more than an overglorified key to some beautiful apartments.
