I thought Comcast was the worst, and then I interacted with Time Warner Cable. As a summer NYC resident, I attempted to have only internet installed in my apartment. The technician showed up late for the appointment and then proceeded to look all around my apartment complex for wires. When I asked if he could run a different wire from the splitter, he instead pulled the existing, attached coaxial cable from the wall instead. He played elevator music from his phone the entire time. He took a personal phone call right in front of me. He asked to use my bathroom, and I later found urine on my toilet seat. In the end, he said he wasnt able to install the services because he needed access to the apartment building basement, which was closed. I talked with my landlord, who explained that no one had ever needed such access to install internet. I called and complained to TWC, and they promised that a manager would contact me the next day to schedule installation. I would also receive a $25 credit, they said. No one ever called. Its been 2 weeks. Even worse, I checked my credit card account a few days ago, and I noticed that Time Warner had charged me for services. Luckily, my credit card company will dispute the claim for me. I should have called Verizon first. Or anyone else.

TL;DR decent internet (not many outages, but still slow and expensive), terrible customer service. They put a debt on my credit account without letting me know; which you know is really bad in America. Internet was reliable. Had it for 2 years and paid my bills regularly. When the lease on my house was over and I was about to move, I told them to disconnect it. I paid the bill for the last month as well. They were about to charge me for the modem as well, but it was my own modem and had to tell them that. They didnt have information about that and were about to cheat me. Few months passed and I was buying a car and the dealership told me that there is a debt in my credit statement and it was Time Warner. I called them and they said that I didnt pay the last months bill and that they sent me the receipt my mail to my house (which I told them that I wont be living there anymore). I asked them why couldnt send me an electronic mail as well and if they were living in the 50s. I paid the stupid fine because I needed to get the car soon. Their customer care is horrible. Do not get Time Warner.

I went to this Time Warner store to pay my bill so i wont be interrupted. Every time i go there like around 4:49PM they have lock the door when they are open monday - friday from 8am to 5pm i had one argument from a guy name Steven? not too sure what was his name then it was another guy, i told them its only 4:49 pm and not its evening 4:59 or 5:00, i beat the time they still dont want me to go in. then the guy came out and told me "what am i f***ing deaf?" i think this was a employee or a security i have had people telling me this place was worst from the beginning this store and the people are extremely rude. i am so fed up with this abuse, the guy was forcing the door to close on my fingers when i told them its not even 5pm yet, they are very abusive and i am tired of this right now, i told the police what the guy did and he was laughing saying "you got the cops on me you prick?" and the police told him to back up and he left with a smile. im reporting this because i want an apologize i want actions to be done. this store can go to hell.

This is the worst Time Warner customer service site I have EVER experienced. Avoid it at all costs! I waited 2 hours 20 minutes to exchange my cable box. Once my number was called the woman had absolutely no apology and couldnt cared less about my frustration with the obscenely long wait. Her only response was, "The wait normally isnt this long." From what I saw, the wait was so long because 5 of the 7 employees all took their lunch break at the same time leaving only 2, yes 2, windows open! I asked to make a formal complaint, the womans response? "My managers on break, youll have to wait 10-15 minutes for her to come back." The one good thing about my visit was that once I did get to a window I was done in about 2 minutes, which was just a bigger frustration because it made no sense why the wait was so long to begin with. I highly suggest going elsewhere or getting the box delivered, this was unbelievably ridiculous.

This place is a nightmare! From the minute you walk into the place. Customers are greated by an obviously Latina woman with green eyes who is beyond rude. I was told to come to the store and exchange my splitter because the one I had was no good. As I begin to tell the woman my issue, she does not allow me to finish speaking! She proceeds to tell me we dont have that here, you can either purchase one out of pocket elsewhere or if I find a TWC truck outside to ask him to give me another one or arrange for a tech to come out and pay $45, keeping in mind I five TWC $199 a month! She was just disgusting and rude. Its amazing how one person can manage to ruin a whole company. If this store plans on providing service they should start off by hiring nicer staff and not giving the job to a non customer providing individual which looks like a miss piggy...fire that bitches ASS ASAP!

My issue with this place is that they hire (SOME) people that dont know a God damn thing. Its like theyre reading a manual and repeating what it says. I went in to suspend my service and the guy was talking nonsense. He was very unprofessional and unknowledgeable. I spoke to Spectrum on the phone and they told me to tell him to look in the computer for the notes. He didnt bother. He kept running his mouth about fees and policys. I went to a different spectrum location and they actually did their job. They LISTEN to you and help you with your problem. Avoid this place at all cost.... Its also over crowded and some people look like they hate their job and take their anger out on customers. Go to the one on the upper east side. AVOID THIS PLACE

Horrible. I have been having issues for more than a month now and I need the internet for my school classes. Have called once and they raise the bandwidth. Did not even think to send out a representative to help fix the issue. Actually, they made the internet worse. I dont know how, but they did. I have issues keeping a connection and staying fully connected to the internet now. I could be in a meeting over the computer and it would shut me off because the internet would go out. Resetting the modem only works once and then it happens again 15 minutes after. Honestly, if you have the choice, do NOT get internet from them. ATnT is what I will be switching to.
