Very friendly staff that seems professional. But my overall experience was not good. They repaired damage done to the hood of my car by replacing it with a new hood that had another paint chip already on it that was obvious for anyone to see. If I saw it they saw it, and I saw it immediately. Now every time I see the chip in the paint it reminds me that I should have disputed the paint but I had a limit on the amount of time that my insurance would cover the rental car that I was using while the car was being repaired. Im now clear that not advocating for myself was a mistake. But I shouldnt have had to do that since my insurance company had already paid them. On top of that they had removed my cars emblem to paint it and forgot to put it back on. Fine, people make mistakes, but when I brought it to their attention they said that they would have someone contact me in order to bring it to me and replace it at my home so that I wouldnt have to return to the property. But then no one contacted me, so I reached back out to them and had to drive back to the business to have the emblem put back on. But the part that bothers me the most is the chipped paint in the hood that I am reminded of every time I wash and polish my car. Cest Dommage.
This is my second time at this shop. 1st tine I did not have work done due to my ins deductible HOWEVER, ABRA did not take one look at a mercedes benz and think "$$$$$$" they gave me a very reasonable quote and I will be returning to have that work done there. 2nd time I went I did have the work done and I cant tell where there massive keying of my car was done. Price for this was a little steep for my budget, but this time I hadnt a deductible. The ABRA team did some "extras" free of charge, nothing major, just a nice gesture as well as returned my car a little cleaner than it was when I dropped it off. They didnt dilly-dally they got right on it and my car was done the same day. They kept me informed via text message of the progress throughout the day. With so many businesses forgetting that "the customer always comes first" these days, its the little things add up with me. My car is 15 years old, more machine than computer so I get highly annoyed when one sees a woman and or Mercedes and thinks $$$$. Prices are fair for the work and attitude at ABRA!
My insurance company sent me twice for repairs and Im not impressed. They left a damaged suspension part on the first car that took another year to diagnose and fix. The second one was this year and I didnt think the paint quality was that good. I had roof damage from a rock from a truck. Its three layer paint and its got some orange peel. Also, when I dropped it off they said it would take three days. When I called after three days they said they were just starting. It took another two days. Not going back.
Superior customer service! Shawn went out of his way to take care of me,as did the ladies upfront. They were first class from start to finish!
