"Disrespectful, deplorable customer service." I am a Hurricane Harvey, evacuee and made a reservation here. I drove 3 1/2 hours from Houston and arrived at 9:45 AM. When I showed up the door was locked and saw the manager driving up in a golf cart with a customer. The sketchy woman unlocks the door and does not bother to open it or say hello. I walked in and she says I with another customer and it will be 20 minutes. I was sitting in my car and a landscaper from VillaScapes from Pflugerville walks by and he is tapping on my Astros Decal on my truck and says Astros Astros. I said, dont touch my car get away from my car. He tells me he did not touch my car and to cool down and proceeds to eyeball me for a minute then lets himself onto the property. When I spoke to the manager about my reservation, I could not take the promotional offer of half of the price because, I am a current customer at a public storage. I was never informed of this when I made my reservation and as I said, I drover 3 1/2 hours to view a unit. What a waste and the drama that unfold.
When I made a reservation online for this storage, Elisha promptly called me on my phone to confirm the reservation, she was so pleasant and helpful. A couple of days later when I went to the property, the team members were touring the grounds for security, but the sign read when theyd return, and on the dot they showed up back at the office when they said they would. Erika showed me the unit, and really went out of her way during the tour, showing me multiple units after discussing how much space I would need. I think with her help, I ended up with the ideal spot. The day that I began filling my storage unit, I was greeted at the door by Robin, who offered me a handcart to help move my boxes into my spot. I feel very comfortable not only with the staff but also with the facility to store my possessions. I like this branch of Public Storage, and the people to run it. A big thank you, to you all. :)
Elisha was simply amazing! She was single-handedly managing the property at the time we arrived and in the midst of chaos, she maintained her poise and professionalism handling our needs as well as the needs of others exceedingly well. Not sure where her supervisors were to have left her hanging like that (1 employee, internet down, other issues) but despite poor management decisions, she prevailed with grace and poise. The facilities are wonderful and we are pleased with the opportunity to rent. But more importantly, we are pleased because of Elisha works there. Way to go, Elisha! Hang in there!
Not sure what all people look for when looking for a storage unit. But what I can say is, that I was pleased and satisfied when this storage place at this location. I believe and think that its fairly new facility. If not fairly new, then it is very well maintained and very clean. Flisha was the one helping me at the time and she was very pleasant, professional, and friendly. The tour and showing of the unit went smooth and she was good about asking me, if I had any questions or concerns. The storage facility seems and feels very secure and safe. I highly recommend this public storage.
Excellent facility; clean, well maintained, with a friendly, professional, helpful, enthusiastic staff. From the first call to confirm my reservation, to being greeted upon arrival of my last trip with Aaron (manager) meeting me with a dolly before Id even walked in the building. On more than one occasion I was late returning to the storage facility, arriving within five minutes after closing, Elish and LD graciously opened the office so that I might check out a dolly for use that evening. I highly recommend this Public Storage location. I only wish I had checked them out sooner!
Erika was great, even with me having my son whom has a mental disability with me she was very patient. Service and explaining was good. The other lady whom was in there Elisha was so rude in regard to my son she might not have said anything but the facial expressions toward my son where so disrespectful, I didnt say anything but I was really angry so I just got my papers after wards told Erika thank you and left. My son did not ask to have a mental disability so for a person working in a business to look at your son that way is messed up. Thanks Erika for all your help you were great.
Very nice facility opened March 2015. Elisha provided us with outstanding customer service asking questions to be sure we were assigned the unit that best met our needs. Since my wife will be going through family heirlooms while they are in storage, she needed a unit that was well lit. Elisha made sure the unit we were assigned had as much light as could be afforded from the hallway lighting. High level of security throughout! Overall a most pleasant experience from the time we entered through leaving with all paperwork signed. Again, Elisha was outstanding!
Erika was so incredibly helpful when I was looking for a unit to fit all of my stuff inside! Even though she had a pretty good idea what size unit I needed, she still took me to see each unit that I was interested and gave me all the various rates with no fuss. (She was spot-on with the size recommendation, by the way.) The facilities are brand new, so they are super clean. They also do regular floor checks of the indoor units (I know because I accidentally bumped into Robin one time), which is nice to know and I was unaware of prior to renting.
My wife and I met with Elisha on site at the property. Elisha was very knowledgeable and welcoming. She was very pleasant to speak with and patiently answered all our questions. We were so very impressed that Public Storage has someone on site, always. We were also comforted by the modern setting with full security 24 hours a day. Access is controlled by a key pad and there is a special key provided at a small additional cost. We are encouraging our family to consider this Public Storage facility when they identify storage needs
The on-site manager is controlled by a computer. The corporate number redirects you to the on-site managers number. On-site manager gives you district managers number. District manager has never answered the phone after several attempts and fails to return any calls. Then some employee from California calls and has no idea of what is transpiring at this place. Its looking like their motto is "if we dont take care of the customer, maybe theyll stop bugging us". Really sad to see such a nice place going south so fast.
Customer service was excellent from the time I placed my order on line and received a phone call within a minute to completing all of the paperwork with Elisha on Saturday morning. It was important for me to have a clean, climate-controlled storage unit and that is exactly what I received! I appreciate the security, water fountains, and clean restrooms! They also have easy to move dollies to help transport from your car to the storage unit. I am very happy I chose Public Storage in Georgetown!
