I went to the Wash Tub to get my van washed. It was the worst car wash experience of my life. The man at the entrance sold me a $14.99 wash job. I went inside and paid. While waiting for the van to get washed I looked at the receipt and they charged me $35.00. I finally got that straightened out. Then, they finished the wash and wipe-down. I got in and drove off. When I got home, I took a close look at the vehicle and the clean job. Both the inside and out were terrible. Dirt everywhere. Consequently, I washed and wiped down the van my self so I could get the kind of a job that my new 2013 van deserved. Also, I now have a new dent in the door that was not there before the wash. Of course they have a big sign that says theyre not responsible for any damage. On the whole, it was a truly bad experience. They will never see me again.
In the beginning at that they did a good job but as I kept going it just got worse for example I want to get the full interior detail that cost $120 after I got the service the finish was it that good & the two workers that work in my car really where not concentrating n paying attention to detail. It wasnt worth the hundred twenty dollars however each time I went you can just watch the workers not really put a full wipe to your vehicle its kind of like as if there just passing the towel over spots but at the same time the towels are dirty when they go wash the windows or whipe with the windows you could see the streaks .....they charge a lot but dont pay attention to detail. ...as most of us whom care for our vehicles we always pay attention to detail. ...1 star is sll I give n I dont recommend this to picky people like myself:-)
Last Wednesday I took my car in to be washed. I foolishly left my money clip, containing about $370, in the closed center console of my car. When the car was done I looked in the console and the money clip was there but the money was gone. I brought this to the attention of the supervisor and asked that they check the employees pockets for the missing $370. They refused to do so and spent the next two days "reviewing the video" before they told me that they could not see anyone taking the money on their video. In spite of the fact that that money was in the car when I pulled in and was NOT there when they returned my car the management said the loss was my problem. If you use this car wash dont leave anything in your car youre not prepared to lose.
I have been to Wash Tub several times over the years and I have never had a bad experience. My car comes back squeaky clean and shiny. You get what you pay for. If you are going to pay 14 dollars for a wash, you are going to get 14 dollars of service. I have had to wait before but the car lot was completely full so that is to be expected. Wash Tub always calls out your name after they are finished detailing your car so if you missed their call its probably because you were distracted or on your phone. The interior of the car looks brand new when they are done detailing it. The floorboards are super clean and you can see all the fine details of your car on the exterior when they are done with it. So, amazing job overall. .
I was surprised to read some of the other reviews. Ive only been there about 5 times but have not had a negative experience. 1. Bonnie is so very professional, pleasant, kind, and efficient. She sold me a membership but was not "pushy" and made me see the value in it. I keep my car much cleaner now because I have paid for the service. 2. Its true, sometimes it takes a while for the service to be completed. If you see a lot of cars on the lot and you are pressed for time, wait until you have an extra 45 min. or so to wait. The more cars on the lot,,,,,, the longer it will take. (duhhhhh!!!!) 3. I havent felt like anyone was trying to push me to buy anything. 4. My car has looked and smelled fresh and clean after each visit.
Today the Georgetown shop waxed my truck and they did a fantastic job. My 13 year old truck looks like its new off the show room floor. Austin helped me decide what services I needed and he made sure I was completely satisfied. The price was fair and Austin and the detailer(s) went the extra mile to do a great job on my truck. Also, my experience with all of the staff was really good and Bonnie, working the counter, was very friendly. They run a well managed business in Georgetown and I will definitely be back.
Have a membership here, totally not worth it. If you expect things to be done correctly, then move along. If you have time to sit in line, let them vacuum and then wait another 30 minutes while they get to re-vacuum the car - since they dont have a hand held for their obvious lacking - you get to go back in the original line!!! Who has time for that?! Then when you get home you can wipe the surfaces they didnt. This didnt happen just once, but every time I have gone! Thought it was a fluke, but no.
Excellent Service, Horrible Communication. All in all, after purchasing their most expensive detailing package offered I was pleased with the results. But they forgot/failed to inform me when the car was ready; no announcements, no calls. I literally wasted an hour on site before inquiring on its status. "Oh yeah, it was ready an hour ago", their floor manager said. Yeah, thanks a lot, guys.
We have never been to such a nice place to get your car washed! BIG, clean waiting area, comfy couches, well stocked with drinks and snacks. But the most amazing thing about WashTub was the employee honesty and integrity! A $100 bill had inadvertently fallen out of my pocket into the drivers side door pocket. They found it and returned it to me!! Simply stellar honesty. HIGHLY recommend!
The only reason I gave 4 stars is because Bonnie is awesome and they are fast. What I dont appreciate is having some little punk tell me I look tired! When is that okay to say to someone? Never! I didnt get his name, but he was working on monday 10/24 around 2 pm and he was an overweight Mexican kid. Keep your mouth shut next time if you cant say something that isnt rude
I wish the salespeople would be less pushy. I went in with a brand new car, just off the lot, and they are pushing me to get it waxed. This happens almost every time I go. If you do not want to have the car waxed, some of them get insulting. I understand that they want to sell more services, however if I just want to wash my car, then let me!
Wanted to try this place out and give myself a break from washing my trucks. But Paid 50 and I ended up waiting 2 hours. The girl detailing my truck left smudges everywhere.side steps were Not clean at all. At the end I had to tell em what to clean. Not worth the price.
