I visited several storage facilities in the area where I live and I found Public Storage to have the best prices. Diane, the property manager, was very friendly and very helpful. We discussed the types of property I would be bringing to determine the correct size storage unit I needed. When we finished that I was shown several units around the property. She explained the procedures for opening and closing the unit, the lock procedures and its safety features. Told me of future safety features that Public Storage would be adding. They are painting the property at this time (Dec. 2013) and it looks very good. There was no pressure to rent. She explained all of the code procedures for the gate and was very thorough in her explanations of everything that I asked. I really do not believe I could had a better representative for this company.
Everything was painless getting a storage unit. Mark was amazing and the unit was clean and ready for us to move things in. However, I will make one request that would have helped if the salesman had told me that renters insurance was required, I would have been prepared for the extra cost or would have called my own insurance for a policy. That cost was unexpected and I was led to believe for $20.00, was all I needed for the first month, when in fact I needed to buy a lock and pay insurance plus the 20.00 for a total of $51.56, the 28th of March with another $14 coming out of my account on the 3rd of April. Then instead of $71.00 like I was quoted per month, it will be 82.00. I really think the salesman should make this clear about the insurance and the lock. Other than that I was happy with the local storage unit.
Ive used various storage facilities over the years, but this Public Storage is one of the best Ive seen so far. Reviews for me are normally a cacophony of complaints and raving about terrible service or cockroaches in my food. Not this time. First, I was blown away by the level of customer service Mark provided me. Not only was I well informed, but also well prepared for the storage of my stuff. Mark had me captivated with his explanation of the facilities. Never before had I experienced such an enthusiasm for storage. I feel truly satisfied in choosing this storage unit, and if you, dear reader, are ever fortunate enough to encounter Mark on one of his work days, you too shall understand. Five starts just isnt enough.
Booked my reservation online and Mark called to confirm my reservation. I hadnt paid attention to the selection I made and booked a parking spot vs. a storage unit :( He was very understanding and helped me correct my error. Mark is knowledgable and curtious. He showed me a couple of available storage units to choose from, which were very clean, and we completed the check-in process within 10 minutes. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a convenient, clean and professional location in the Tomball/ Klein area. While youre there, ask Mark for a free ride in the golf cart!
I have had the unit for about a month Jackie was very helpful and went out of her way to speed the process up as much as possible because I was in a hurry that day. She actually takes the time to get to know people and retains the information gained through conversion. A few weeks after renting the unit I went into the office requesting my gate code she pulled me up and didnt even ask my name or unit number she actually remembered me. She is not your typical going through the motions doing the bare minimum for a paycheck type of gal she personalizes and builds relationships love her
Well put together location. Jackie took the time and ensured I saw what was available, explained the various aspects of renting (as a first timer), worked with me to weight the options - pros and cons, and at no time did I feel rushed or compelled in any form. I really appreciate the time she took with me, lends to a lasting relationship. For professionalism, Jackie managed to crowd very well. At one point there were 5 of us in there, with her multi-tasking, she professionally took care of us all. Definitely will send people to this location
I opened a public storage a month ago. I was lied to about when my payment was due. The manager only calls me on the due date to tell me that if I dont pay today I was going to be charged late fees. That is bad customer service. Now I have to pay a late fee of. 20.00. They could of called me sooner. I had to leave town and there is no public storage in my town. I tried to pay online and it wouldnt go through. This is the worst storage I ever rented. The worst part is I need to keep my stuff there cause Im out of town. I am so upset.
First off, its hard to really come by people with such excellent customer service skills as Mark. First thing I walked in the door he gave me a greeting with a smile. I really wasnt sure what size unit I was looking for but he took me around and helped me find exactly what would work for me. Ive had terrible experiences with public storage before, but Mark definitely provided the best customer service experience. Take care of him Public Storage because hes going to take care of you.
Absolutely great service! From making the reservation to going in and getting my unit, these people are awesome and know what they are doing! Also, the vacate process was easy and quick! I recommend this place to anyone in the area. Prices are a lot cheaper here than surrounding storage facilities as well. I saved $75 taking the extra time to call around. I would definitely come here again if I needed to! Thanks to you and your crew, you have my loyalty!
Been dealing with Public Storage for a while now and the staff has always been accommodating and friendly. Jackie recently started working here and she has been helpful every time I come in. Its nice to come in and get the same service. Thanks public Storage and Thanks Jackie for your help and service!! Clean facility. I keep a few types of animal traps out and I have never seen anything alive or dead inside my unit.. That is important to me
The customer service is excellent. Vince worked with us to ensure that our storage needs were met. He called us on the day we planned to move our stuff into the unit to confirm what time we would be arriving. We got to look at two different available units and decide which one would work best for us. Vince was very helpful in answering all of our questions and taking care of everything to get us setup with our unit.
Every time I come in I get outstanding customer service. I love that it is so easy to pay my bill online. Chelsea just helped me get my gate code was super sweet and courteous and Diane was very helpful with my move in and made it very easy, and was extremely helpful. The property is always clean and very secure. I will be recommending public storage to friends and family. Thank you again.
