The instructors are wonderful. I was a member here for 7 months and then injured my back. I held off cancelling immediately as I had hoped to be able to come back. I was autobilled $149 for November 2016. I called on November 18th to let them know of my injury. The lady was very nice on the phone and sent me the cancellation form. She said that my autobill date was December 2, 2016 but that since I had an injury and since I had not used the facility in November, she would do her best to get the membership terminated so that I would not be charged again for a month I would not use. I sent the cancellation form in and never heard back from them. My credit card was charged for December. While it is within their right to charge, it is pretty low class to do this to someone with an injury when cancellation in mind body takes all of 30 seconds. If you decide to become a member here, you had better understand that they are concerned with the $$ they make from you rather than you as a person. Very unfortunate.
I pay $150 per month and cant even get into the class times that work for my schedule. The gym has become over crowded yet they continue to push sales on signing up new customers, which is great, however they dont tell these new people that the likelihood of them getting into a class they want to get into is nearly impossible unless you sign up 3 months in advance. They also over book the class so there are times when you have to fight for a station which is ridiculous. Dont get me wrong, the workouts out great, the trainers are wonderful, but the business model is terrible. If you are over sold you are over sold. Dont convince people they can instantly sign up and be able to choose their classes. It is just not true and is extremely deceiving.
I started with Orange Theory before they even opened. While they were building it, they hosted a few classes at a nearby park. I fell in love from the get go. I had been working out with my sister prior, but we were hitting a place where we just didnt know what we should be doing. Orange Theory is like having a trainer, tell you what to do at each minute of your workout, so that you get the maximum results during your hour of class. I love it! I never thought I would love getting up at 5am to go to class, but it gets me going and I am set for the day. Thank you to all the Trainers, Tennille, Natalie, Angie, Doug, David, Sierra, Drew, and the front staff for making this such a great place to workout and make new friends.
OT is my happy place. The workouts kick my butt, but are never so difficult that I feel like I cant get through them. There isnt one coach I dont like. My fitness level since I have been going has dramatically increased and I really enjoy being able to monitor myself and setting goals based on my heart rate. I also appreciate that the coaches are super motivating without being too invasive. If I am having an off day and am not giving it my all, they are encouraging, but never make me feel like I cant go at my own pace. If I am going to spend 3-4 hours a week working out, I am so glad I know I am doing a workout that gives me the most bang for my buck. ;) I love everything about OT.
Sarah at the front desk is fantastic. She is helpful and energetic, even at 6:00 in the morning. I love how the workout is structured and you can see exactly where you are at compared with everyone else. This helps me know if I am slacking compared to the group and compared to what heart rate zone I am supposed to be in. I also get post-workout feedback so I can keep track of it later. Great place. Well worth the money. Update: I am 64" tall and weighed 213 when I started a month ago. I am down 7 pounds of fat, which is 2.2% down on my body fat percentage. I am really happy with the results and I feel really good.
This is the place you want to sweat!!!! I love going here! The trainers are positive, the music is GREAT and the workouts are brainless. They offer you challenges and ways to complete them with help on FB or meal ideas, money incentives and ways to get out and help in the community. Orange Theory in CWH is a family. They offer many times for classes and I have never not been in a class due to being on a waitlist. They make burning calories work but in a good way!

I love how it can be as intense as I want it to be. I was able to work out until week 38 of my pregnancy, and the trainers were helpful in helping me find ways to alter the exercises to accommodate my big belly. I also like when the coaches correct my form, as I want to make sure I dont get an injury. I appreciate that classes start on time and end on time. Also, everyone is friendly!
It is challenging, but I can go at my own pace. There is always someone there to challenge me, whether it is a coach or another client. I dont have to think about "what should I do at the gym today?" You guys give a systematic plan that keeps challenging me no matter what! I love my OTFCwoodHood Family!
I love this place. The trainers are so awesome and the workouts are amazing....I have never been to a gym where I actually want to come back. I highly recommend OTF Cottonwood! They have helped changed the way I look and more importantly how I feel about myself! Love, love, love OTF.
OrangeTheory is exactly what they sold me. I love the workouts. They are different every day. They are built for every skill level. The trainers and members are supportive as well as inspirational. I have invited several people to join me for a workout and they all loved it.
Everything is great about OTF Cottonwood Heights!! Theyve got it all.............The atmosphere, the coaches and trainers, the equipment, how the workouts are run, the pace of it and of course great tunes to help out any workout. I recommend OTF to everyone!
It is motivating to be challenged by your own self! Getting to the orange or red zone pushes your mind and body and you dont have to compare yourself to others. I also like the follow up emails summarizing my workouts I receive when my workout is complete.
My visit to Cottonwood Heights was fantastic. I love the layout of the facility, probably my favorite in Utah. Doug was a great trainer, and the energy of the group was awesome. I will definitely come back whenever the opportunity arises!
Love, love, love OTF! The workouts are so fun and the trainers mix it up so much that 60 minutes goes by super fast. I highly recommend if youre looking for a change from a traditional gym membership.
Best workout Ive ever done! Its truly an addiction once you start. Ive lost more weight and gained more muscle - more easily - than I ever have with any other workout. Cant recommend it enough.
It was a nice difficult workout with good change of pace and shows areas I need to focus on. Fun, competitive environment and love how I can track how far Im pushing myself in real-time.
