Dont. Go. Here. Ever. Just go to MJS. If you want a little story, Ill tell you why: Let me tell you about the WORST customer service experience Ive ever had. On Saturday, I walked in thinking Id give this shop a try. I usually go to MJS and knew theyd be slammed, and just needed a quick cut on the sides. Simple right? I go in, get in a chair right away. I tell the "barber" I want a taper 0-4 blended into the combover. Just a little trim off the top. No biggie. Apparently, that is, and I quote, "Confusing the barber." Thats being unclear, not knowing what you want, and apparently justifies a terrible haircut. Anthony decided he was a big boy and didnt need to use a guard. My haircut came out about as even as the asphalt on the streets of Los Angeles. The hard part....well....Lets just say that Ive seen 4 year olds cut straighter lines with safety scissors. I asked for a different barber to fix it, and he did the best he could. It was about an overall 1 1/2 length basically an undercut in order to fix Anthonys failure of a haircut. I paid the heinous $16 price and left. On my way home, I kept looking in the mirror and thought, "There is no WAY Im paying for this crap." I called, and the guy who fixed my hair said hed give me a refund. Cool. No biggie. Right? WRONG. I get there, he gives me my money back. I think hes about to say "Next time, just ask for me and Ill take care of you". No harm, no foul. Nope. This douchebag says "Hey, bro, next time, dont confuse your barber so much. Know what you want." I laugh to myself and just turn around and walk away. He decides to add, as Im leaving, "And hey, bro, if you ever decide to come back, bro, itll be double!" And snickers and fist bumps the other idiots in the shop. Yeah. Thats how you treat customers. Project your failure as a barber onto me and try bully your way out of a situation with sarcasm and terrible customer service. People like this belong nowhere near a set of clippers, much less in the customer service industry. Dont even step foot in this pathetic excuse for a barber shop. I left without a word, and figured my energy would be better spent warning others to stay away, lest you encounter the same terrible situation. Go to MJs. Everyone is amazing there, $13-16 depending on how fancy your cut is. They even line you up with a straight razor, and treat you like family. Yeah, youre gonna be in the shop for 1.5-2 hours by the time you wait and get a cut....but it is worth the wait.

Awful. Bad customer service, and theyll leave chunks of hair that theyve cut on top of your head. Theyre rude and have little to no skill. Ive cut my own hair and done a better job. And most of the 5 star ratings are from the employees themselves, or their friends. Dont trust this place.

I have had a great experience at A La Mirada Barbershop every time I have been there. The wait time has not been long and the price is reasonable for the surrounding area. The atmosphere in the shop is homie and all the barbers I have dealt with have been very efficient.

These guys seen like they are all friends. They are hispanic guys and relatively young. Reminds me of my family. Very chill. 12 bucks to get my hair cut. Troy cut my hair, and did an excellent job. I am definitely coming back next time.

Rude people who messed up a friends haircut, then blamed him for it, then told him if he ever came back theyd charge him double. Horrible place, pathetic customer service, garbage barber shop. Dont waste your time.
