Found Jacks via Google search for Barbers in the Folsom - Sacramento area and I wanted something close to the Folsom area and Jacks met that criteria. I called first and spoke to one of the barbers over the phone asking if I needed an appointment and none was needed and was told to just come on down. Pros: Price -13$ before tip Very easy to find Walked in and was greeted very quickly by the barber that would be cutting my hair. Barber asked me how I would like my hair cut and or what I was looking for. Cons: No frill barber shop and the building and area is pretty ran down. No straight razor on the neck Overall I was very happy with my hair cut and there were just a few little stray hairs and I even got my eyebrows cleaned up. I would definitely return and recommend this Barber Shop to others.

I didnt actually get a hair cut here but went here for a hair cut, if that makes sense. I waited for about 45 minutes. There was one barber who was giving a haircut to a father and his son. He chatted and took his time getting the job done and even paused his hair cuts to finish conversation. I had time to puruse an entire newspaper and a magazine before I left. You may want to try this place ONLY if you have time to kill.

I have been coming here for over 20 years. Not sure why Jay gave them one star that is totally uncalled for. This is not a drive up window or 10 items or less at the grocery store. Its a barber shop!! Where SERVICE matters. If you want production go to a factory outlet. They do have more than one barber. You should try this place ONLY if you want a good haircut at a fair price.

This place was great. i was looking to an alternative to the big chains like great clips and was not dissapointed. Will (i think was his name) was my barber and he took his time making sure he did it right that i had a great haircut. Great company and great cut. Could not ask for more
