Please dont send your kids here, especially infants. There are too many teachers in the infant room taking care of 8 babies and they take turns too often so theres not really one teacher that fully concentrates to take care of your baby. So you are never sure if they all fully keep themselves clean or keep the place, toys and things clean all the time. The carpet looks old and need to be replaced but the teachers often have the babies on the dirty looking carpet. Also the teachers dont look trustworthy. Jasmine look like shes not always telling the truth. And Sarah the owner is hardly there, hard to reach her and you cant contact her because the facility refuse to give you her number to contact. How ridiculous is that? Why? Please dont send your kids here, especially infants. How can I give 30 days notice when I had to withdraw my baby from being sick after staying in the hospital for 4-5 days because of being severely sick from this school? So please do not send your babies to this school! Send them somewhere else if you dont want them sick.

Love, love, love HSK! I really dont know where to start. Over the last 6 years, Happy Sunshine Kids has become an extension of our family. Weve had three kids start in the infant room and move on up through the preschool. My littlest is in the infant room now with a great group of caring teachers including Toni, Maria and Cecelia. It makes me sad to see the lies and petty digs by a small few difficult people (and Competitors jealous of the great location and awesome product) who surely do not represent the many, many happy parents and kids with whom our children continue to have relationships with, even after they have moved on to elementary school. Mrs. Sarah (owner & director Sarah Wyles), is a loving, caring head of school. For a few years, she had a director in place that probably made some bad choices, but now that Sarah is back day to day as director, everyone is on the same page. My 3 year old starts every day running to her for a hug. And, Mrs. Sarah has been instrumental in helping her transition now that shes not the baby anymore and her big sister has moved on. My wife is an RN. I am a business owner. Weve never once questioned our decision to place each of our kids in their care. But the biggest evidence comes in the love my kids obviously have for their school and their teachers. You cant fake that. Take a tour. Talk to a REAL parent. Send me a request if you have a question. Youll be happy you did! In the mean time, Im going to talk to other REAL past and current parents and ask them to share their stories. Its time HSK got the kudos it deserves!

I just took my son out of this horrible school--I can tell you that Sarah has no regard for her staff, that she is hiring (now) teachers who are not credited enough or at all, they may be able to pass legally through the system, but they are not the teachers you want teaching your child. the comment about the kids being in private school--who the "f" cares--the bottom line is that Sarah is a person who should not be running a school--Sarah has embezzled money from a fundraiser that not only I donated to, but other parents donated to and she spent it! none of it went to the new toys, books, pens etc that it was supposed to go to. She will tell you some sob story of where the money went, but its a lie and honestly that isnt what the money was supposed to be for--it was for the betterment of the school! She serves up frozen food for the kids, not always the "fresh whole foods" that we pay good money for. yes there will always be issues with schools etc, but not at this magnitude--if you were to do your due diliegence now on this school you will see that she has many labor disputes filed against her and its all public record--all you have to do is ask. I know some of you have to keep your kids there because her fees are so low, and i get that, but if you can afford to, take your child somewhere else, it will be worth the extra money to send your child to another school, unless all you care about is the "private school" your kid gets into--then I guess the rest of us will deal with your neglected and ignored child when we learn about them on the news.

we have a child at HSK as well, and lately have been very disappointed. one--the teacher to child ratio is a lie that Sarah advertises its more like 1-12 not the 1-7, which is one reason why most parents join. Two-She has fired some fabulous teachers based on her emotional reaction to them ie. they get paid late however she feels its OK for her to pay them late and they should understand and when they complain they are fired. no regard to how this is going to affect the children. on any given day/month there will be a teacher missing and MUCH later you will be given a notice on why which is usually an untrue statement. It has such great potential to be a great school, but the owner doesnt care, HER bottom line is more important. One of the comments below ask if you have complaints why do you stay--because its not that easy to go from school to school there are lists that you have to get on, not to mention that its unfair that we should have to remove our childs "norm" because one person cant get her life together either professionally or personally. shame on sarah--she would not accept this for her children why should we?

What isn't wrong with this place? So I'm just going to get to the point. Don't send your kids here! They didn't change my daughters diaper the 7 hours she was there and she got a urinary tract infection! When I called to complain they ended up hiding one behind another. Still waiting for a refund 3 months later. I think its necessary since I had to pull my daughter out after that incident among other reasons. Two months paid for that my daughter didn't attend. This place is dangerous to your child's health! UPDATE* i eventually did get a refund from Ms.Sarah
