This review is for the nail woman that works at this salon. Her name is Nancy. I was hoping to really like this place. Ive been coming here for the last 9 months but this was my final straw. I had my nails done three days ago and look at the pictures! Horrible job! How could you let your client leave with nails looking like this? What I am most annoyed at is how Nancy nickel and dimes you. I had gel polish over my acrylics before but wanted to save some money this time around and only do regular polish over my acrylics. So she charges me $5 to remove the gel polish! Then another $1 to fix a broken nail. Seriously? I could see if this was my 1st, 2nd of 3rd time coming but Ive been coming for quite awhile. So I wound up not saving much at all by not getting gels. The pedicures are not good, either. The nail polish has chipped off my every. single. time until I started bringing my own polish and base coat. I have seen people joke about how tie nail polish is supposed to survive through a zombie apocalypse because it is so hard to get off. Well, not here! Unbelievable. I wish I hadnt tipped this time since Im never going back. And considering how much I pay, nancy is very rude and unfriendly. I want to go to a nail salon to relax, not to feel like Im inconveniencing someone.

I went to get a facial (first facial ever) and had a horrible experience! The staff was nice but I came out looking worse than I went in! First of all, the esthetician got soap in my eye which completely ruined my "relaxed mood" and her extractions were the worst! She used tissue wrapped around her fingers and it was more painful than usual. She told me that the "pinkness" on my face would go away within an hour. . . yeah right. Its 6 days later and my face is peeling!! I have scars & bruises thanks to her extractions in different areas around my face. The extractions werent even that great considering that I still have blackheads which are VISIBLE TO THE EYE! NEVER AGAIN!!! When I first arrived I was considering checking out their other services but after this experience I dont think Ill ever go back for anything at all!!!

I read the reviews & figured I would get a hair cut. Sal did a 20-30 minute consult & showed real concern that I would receive the best cut & color for me - not him. What a pleasant surprise. But beyond that he showed real care & spent the time to share insights he has learned in his profession. All in all it was really a nice experience & I really like the cut I got.

Nail Salon in the back of this salon is superb! The manicurist is Nancy and shes been doing my nails for over a year now. Shes great with customers and always seems to remember whats going on in my life. Unlike other nail salons, she actually connects and talks to her customers, which I love! Also, her prices are very reasonable for being located in Pasadena.
