I can confirm the reviews that say that the barbers here are fine EXCEPT for Steve himself, who is a god-awful barber. Ive been three times now and I wont return for a fourth because I refuse to risk my hair on the chance that I get Steve again. The first cut I got was from one of the other guys, which was a good cut for the money. But since then Ive gotten Steve both times and the cuts have been dreadful - he made stupid mistakes, refused to listen to my requests, and spent the entire time bombarding me with offers of stupid hair-care products I had never heard of. And at the end of each cut with Steve, Ive had to trim my hair at home further to fix his errors. Not a good place to go to if you care about your hair at all.

I have been going there for over 7 years. The place hasnt change since they probably opened their doors (well they moved once). I like everyone there except for Steve himself...the guy is a schmuck!!! Always asking you for extra even though I NEVER changed about my order since i have been going there, he refuses to get the Credit Card machine which sometimes its a pain since i do not carry cash with me. The guy is just one odd character. the 2 other guys are very nice and they seem to care for what they do. As long as they are there i will continue going there... hope this helps...

Ive been going to this barber shop for the last 4 years, and I always get my hair cut from Reuben, the hispanic guy who usually wears a baseball cap. I think Reuben does a pretty good job - hes thorough and good with the scissors. I dont have a fancy, trendy hair style, though, so stay away if youre metro. The prices arent especially cheap - I pay $15 for my cut. Like the other posters, Id stay away from the owner, Steve, whos always pushing extra services like a shampoo or a neck massage. In fact, I always go on Sundays because Steve doesnt come in on Sundays!

This place is horrible I came an hour ago and left very dissapointed with my hair cut I asked for a simple taper haircut but wen the woman that works there lined me up it was just bad uneven and crooked and still had to pay 18 $ for its do not come here unless u want a bad hair cut a heads up before u come to mentor barber shop

I told the lady how i wanted my haircut completely butcher the cut. She took way to long in the cut and i asked her how long has she been a barber she said "why? " like i offended her later she told me she had 15. Years Im pretty sure she doesnt have 15 years under her belt safe to say Im not going back again

Slowest haircut I got with the majority of it done with clippers. Seemed incapable of using scissors and lacked knowledge about basic haircut styles. For some reason the price was raised at the end of the haircut. Also, the barber needed to work on her English.

You cant go wrong with Mentor Barber Shop & Style Sln Cool barbers and they actually listen to you!! "Marc" is the man , he is professional and gives you exactly the haircut you want. ( first guy on left when you enter the place )

Do not go here. It had been 2 weeks since my last cut and I went for a cheap trim. The guy completely botched the most simple hair cut possible. Its embarrassing, for someone who makes a living cutting hair, to do be this bad.

A very decent haircut. Everything about this place is oldschool - the guys will talk to you, and my hair, at least, looks like some sweet 50s style. Right on for the price.

Probably one of the worst haircuts ever. No concept of how to cut hair, I could do a better job myself. Do not waste your time or money here.
