After reading the reviews I have no doubt that the High Rollers Barbershop in City Fights provides some of the finest haricuts in San Diego. The venue was classy and original, and the location is ideal. However in terms of customer service, this is an area I would strongly reccomend this shop improve on. When you run a business it is imperative that you place a high value on customer retention and provide superior customer service. I am sad to say this was not the experience I had at the High rollers barbershop today. The second I walked in the barber was vulgar and condescing. Definitely not what you would expect as a first timer. The barber perverted a simple question about pricing into a personal insult saying- "Haircut is 25$, no refunds!" and "Can you even read!" These are not commets ou disclose to customers and as a result this shop should be closed down. No courtesy or customer apprciation here. Itruly feel for everyone in San Diego who has the misfortune of running into this god awful place! I am glad however that so many more people enjoy this shop and I hope it continues to stay in business. Just a change in employees would be suggedted as well as a more postive employee/customer morale. Place definitely needs improvement!

Great place to get a a HAIRCUT at first went I walk outside the place I was thinking about it because music was loud I was thinking sounds like a club in here reason Im a 46 plus years old I ask the guy inside the shop how much you charge for the haircuts ,he answer $22 and only take cash ,very straight to the point no smile or nothing I ask do you have time to cut my hair ? He answer yes if you wait 10 to 15 min to finish my client ,have a seat of you want he say to me , so I wait so after 5 minutes my foot was moving lol because hes music was good Latin sounds, salsa and more , anyways I rate this place 5 stars because the guy skills levels on mastering hes haircuts are 5+plus honestly I did know what I want or style the guy ask me few questions and he say I got you just seat and relax, no more chatting or nothing just cutting I close my eyes and look at my amazing haircut he took 10 years from me just with a Haircut my wife love it my friend love it so Yes this is a 5star BARBERSHOP BASE ON HAIRCUT THANKS HIGHROLLERS

Quieres tener un corte de pelo único que te mires bien i diferente a los demás para que busca lugares donde no te lo cortan como quiere i que sean amables este lugar lo encontré ase poquito mas de 6 meses pero Peter ya lo conocía antes unos de los mejores que me a cortado el pelo me lo e cortado con el por 3 anos i no me puedo quejar así que si quieren un corte de pelo uniquo i muy bien cortado high rollers es el lugar apropiado para asistir.

I found this place when I had a flat tire across the street. I had been looking for a real barbershop since I got stationed in Miramar since October 2011. Especially being from Chicago, I hated cutting my hair on base or outside the base cause they suck. Im used to getting a real fade with a real barber who knows what hes doing, especially when he lines me up. If you from a big city, this is the type of barbershop that youre used to. Peter is the dude that cuts my hair and he takes his craft serious. He knows what hes doing. Music is always playing and its mad chill. You wont regret coming here.

This was my first time here today, when I first got inside the shop there was 2 people waiting already but I sat down anyways. I was hesitant and was thinking of leaving, man good thing I didnt, because I saw him transform the guy in his chair from shaggy to GQ. The dude looked so good, he looked so much better than when he came in, I cant believe it. That was it, I had to get my haircut from Montana. It was well worth the wait because NOBODY CUTS LIKE MONTANA!!!. The best in the business. Thanks for going above and beyond, I feel like I am worth a million bucks, only at the HIGHROLLERS!

I saw the reviews on here for High Rollers and decided to check it out. I received the best haircut Ive ever had. The gentleman took his time to get everything perfect, every stray hair. I got a perfect hard part done with a straight razor, styled comb over, tapered the back and sides beautifully. Ive never had a haircut so thorough and precise. It costs more than a 8-10 dollar haircut at the NEX or great clips or something but the quality is 100X better, and still affordable. I will definitely recommend this place and will be coming back again!

it was my first time there today the barber edwin actually recognized me from the gym and he made me feel comfortable it the hair was really good its worth the couple extra dollars because he really takes his time and makes no mistakes also it was the first time i got like a line like a curved line on the side of my head and i loved it and i got lots of hate from the people for it i love it i will def go back this is my new hairstyle the dudes their are fresh i hate all those older barbers their really hip i felt like i was high really enjoyable

Walked into high rollers and the atmosphere was great!! While waiting to get your haircut music is playing and you can watch tv. Peter, the owner of the barbershop, has a ton of experience cutting hair. When i told him what i wanted he knew exactly what to do and threw his own spin on it. Walked out of the shop looking fresh. I have been going back every week now for months wouldnt go anywhere else!!!! The price you pay is well worth it.. My theory is you get what you pay for and with high rollers barbershop you get quality everytime!!

El mejor lugar que eh encontrado para ir a cortarme el pelo 100% recomendable si se miran feos con sus cortes de pelo vayan a high rollers barber shop los ban a cambiar por completo!! Siempre son vienvenidos y lo mas bueno que puedes llegar sin cita..

When I walked in the guy looked at me pissed off and said "you need something?" I replied "yeah a haircut". He said its "$22 cash only." I said "thats fine where is an ATM near by." To which he replied "I dont know maybe on one of the stores in the corner" all well not looking at me just kept cleaning. This was one of the worst costume service inactions I ever had at a barber shop so I just left. Its a shame because I was looking forward to a hair cut here since everyone talks to highly of the cuts they do.

Peter is a really great barber who takes pride in his work. He is very direct and to the point which is what I like most about him. He makes himself available to his customers and always keeps his appointment and on time for that matter which is rare here in San Diego. Ive been to many barbershops with many disappointments but Pete at High Roller Barbershop keeps my fade nice every time. I also live a couple of blocks away from his shop which is convenient. Thanks again Pete for all that you do.
