There is a great selection of products here. The only thing I did NOT like was that the sales team in the higher end cosmetic section can be very pushy. Sometimes I just want to browse and find colors that I like, but the minute you walk over, you are bombarded! And Ive noticed that most of the products that get recommended to me are VERY expensive. I also dont have much luck with the salesperson matching my foundation. I went through several foundation matches on several different occasions and only one salesperson accurately matched it with a Stila foundation. I think there could be better training with foundation color matching and it would be nice to not be bombarded while shopping in the higher end cosmetics.

Ulta has done well positioning itself as a one-stop-beauty destination. I am very happy with that since I can get my department store type foundation on one side, my drug store type lipstick on the other side and My brows and hair at the Salon as well. One of my other favorite aspects of it is that it rewards you well, the points translate into cash sometimes, instead of really little samples. And when they do give samples, they are generous sizes. I pick Ulta over Sephora anyday.

They made me feel uncomfortable and watching me over the shoulder I didnt like this store in San Diego Ca on Rosecrans st. I bought my foundation and left right away since I didnt feel comfortable shopping. I will not go back here again.

I have been to many Ulta stores. This store is by far has the most laziest employees ever. They dont care about their costumers. Most of the employees were just gossiping the entire time we were there.

I hate being watched in the store as if Im going to steal something. I get it, loss prevention and what, but I dont like to be watched while Im shopping as if Im already guilty of something.
