Everything has been working just great in the past, It’s been a very hard year for me, I lost my Mother Dec 1st and then my Father took his life March 10th all this year, it has been a very difficult time in my life and much a journey for me. July 15th, I made a call at 9,9:30 and was answered by Matthew, I wanted to see what time my guy was going to be in today and to make an appointment as I come all the way from the East bay, The phone was answered by Matthew explained to me that Fellow Barber has a new website and I could go there and make my appointment and would not need to call in, I explained that I really loved how I just make a call and was able to get in, I have 24 stores that I over see and sometimes it is not possible to go on line, Matthew not only explained it to me 4 times, but 5 times, he was just not understanding or compassionate as to where I was coming from and was not listening to me. He only wanted to make sure that I would goto the website and make my feature appointments, I explained that my life is very hard right now. And expressed to Matthew that should go else where, I asked to speak to the owner and he stated he is on vacation for 2 weeks, I then called and asked for Manager and was told to leave a message for a Manager to call me back and called twice, still no call back, I then called today, and was told if the Manager wants to call me back he will, not very promising. I have never been so saddened by the customer service I have received from Fellow Barber. To the point Ive broken down and cried as I finally found the right person to cut my hair, now I must start all over again as this business does not care about the person. I also had to end the call with Matthew as he was not hearing me and wanted to keep me feeling as I had done something wrong. I’m not sure where to go from here, but if this is the customer service I am going to receive, I have no words!

I used to have a love/hate relationship with Fellow Barber; I loved the great haircuts Id had here from a couple of their stylists and hated the fact that I wasnt able to make an appointment with the one stylist in particular that I really liked. But, theyve recently started up a beta for an online check-in system. You cant make an appointment, but you can check-in online with your preferred stylist in advance, rather than having to come to the storefront just to get a spot in line and then come back an hour later for a haircut, which obviously doesnt work unless you live close by. So, now I can appreciate Fellow Barber for what it is, which is a great place to get a haircut in a beautifully designed storefront. Edit: The appointment system is broken again. Wasnt able to make a reservation with someone Id seen in the past, ended up with some rando and, no surprise, a disaster of a haircut. How hard is it in 2015 to just let customers make an appointment with someone they know gives good haircuts. How hard. Why cant Fellow Barber manage that.

Awesome! This isnt Supercuts, its a barbershop, and a damn good one at that. Dontt expect to be in and out in 20 mins. They do not take appointments because that is typically the case with barbershops. Drop in, put your name on the list, and go wander while you wait. Its in a great location for eating, shopping, or even just people watching (it is SF afterall). The barbers are very nice and make great conversation and the overall atmosphere is way better than whatever place youre currently going to. And the towel wrap! Oh, the towel wrap! Its like a masculine spa day that you will not get teased about.

"Hello I would like a haircut" "Im sorry out next appointment is in 2 hours." "Thats fine Ill come back in 2 hours" "Ok give us your name and we will be ready for you in 2 hours?" "Thats great! see you then!" (two hours later) "Welcome back. Im sorry we lied. it will be another 30 min." "Quite alright. Ill come back in 30 min." (30 min later) "Who are you?" "Ummm.. I think Im in your computer? You asked me to come back twice now?" "Oh ah yeah sure..umm. have a seat" (1 hour later of watching people right off the street get a chair) "Are you guys fing with me? Bye.."

After trying different hair stylists, I decided to go to a barber shop instead. This place is very cool, very San Franciscan. The good thing is that you have options to chose from, not only one person, if your preferred barber is not there you can select another one. Just make sure you make time to walk-in and wait as reservations are not available. Price is ok, could be more affordable for sure but the service you get is awesome, so I guess it makes sense.

A fancy, urban barbershop designed to cater to the upscale gentleman. Decor is purposefully weathered and grungy, for a slightly time-warp feel. I was drawn in by the impressive selection of soaps and products, displayed openly and in easy view of passers-by on the street, and purchased a locally-produced (in CA) soap as a gift--the recipient loved it.

Great place for a guys haircut or beard trim. Modern barbershop with old school vibe. Walk-ins are hard especially on weekends, but you can usually book an appt a day or 2 before and get in. I go to Chang, nice guy and he does a great job and takes care of me each time. Making an appt online or with app for any location

I think FSC provides a very nice haircut at a fair and rare price point in this city ($40). Some people complain that they do not take reservations but as long as you know that coming in, I really dont mind it. The foyer is a very pleasant place to wait and anything else you might need is in easy walking distance.

No way should you go here! I got a 10 minute fade and trim on top and it costs $40. It was a complete rip off. What was most irritating was the amount of hair that was all over my nice shirt and down the back. If you are dumb enough to go then plan on having to have your shirt and body cleaned immediately after.

I usually find myself shopping 5 to 10 different barbers when I move somewhere before I get one I can at least tolerate, but since coming back to SF from NYC this past year, Ive only had to make one stop to find a barber I can actually more than just tolerate - Allie! Highly recommend.

Great first time experience. Place is open, airy, bright, clean and relaxed. Gavin had a great sense of what I wanted and gave me one of the best cuts Ive ever had... Fast too. Could not have been better. Five stars.

The cuts are good but their booking system is no existent so to get a hair cut you have to log in online first thing in the morning and get a random window of an hour some time during the day which could take 30-45 min.
