Well guys, usually before I make a decision I look at alot of the reviews to help me make that choice . Well Im from Modesto Ca and was in San Jose and I was in need of a haircut for and interview the following day. I came across this one in particular and decided to go give it a shot based on the reviews. I walk in and its not a bad atmosphere just a little odd the waiting area is in the back passing all the barbers and walking in between to get to the back. So my gf really needs to use the restroom and you would think with about 2 females and about 6 males it would have looked great and clean! The restroom was disgusting, pee all over, smelled gross, no soap and sink looked like it was breaking apart, no paper towels but a towel hanging for who knows how long its been there. My gf needed to go bad but decided she would wait. Now lets get to the barber shop prices, its posted on the wall with two different prices which make no sense so I had to ask. On the left it says "shop price " $25 right side "experienced barber " $35 so it turns out that if youre new you get the shop price and a regular client the right price which is opposite of what it should be. You would assume regular clientele gets cheaper prices but I get on the chair and ask for my fade and I have a pretty big Beard but thats $45 plus for beard and hair. I am not paying that much so ask just the hair. I get my hair done but I was NOT satisfied with it. The fade looked like a low fade and my line up was not straight. I COULDNT BELIEVE for $25 they do not use a straight blade. I left unsatisfied and recommend u somewhere else. THE GUYS ARE COOL BUT I didnt get what I expected from them. I get for $17 in modesto From my Barber "Jairo" the full package and feel fresh. Beard, hair with a straight blade. Good luck , check it out yourself.

Decent barbershop depending on who you get. Ive been here a couple times and had about 4 different barbers, and stuck to the one I liked best after he did a fairly good job. The quality can range from uneven line ups and sub par fades to fairly close to what you want. The vibe and the people are great though. Very chill fun crowd and nice people overall. As for the reasons I stopped coming here. For starters, its a very popular spot so if you want to get attended, you have to make an appointment in advance, which is fine. The issue lies after the fact. When you arrive, youll likely still need to wait an hour. By the time its your turn, the barbers are often in a rush because theyre lagging behind. Sometimes they even skip using a razor for a lineup and the majority of the time they dont even bother to put shaving gel when they use it. It also cost extra for them to use the towel and do a very thorough job. In NYC these are all expected with any cut and they usually only cost 10-15$ for twice as good a job and it includes everything, which is why Im being very critical. Lastly, for whatever reason, the prize gets more expensive with each visit as opposed to rewarding loyalty. When I first started going I was paying 25$, when I had had enough, i was paying 40$ for a haircut....prices here go up like rent. So my advice, give it a shot. The people and place arent bad and maybe things have changed for the better since I stopped going. Im not trying to knock them in any way, Im just describing my experience, because haircuts can get expensive out here.

Granted I probably shouldnt have gone to a barbershop and expect my cut to come out feminine but I was very disappointed with the style I ended up with. It does not look like the picture of what I wanted at all. My edges and baby hair were removed without me asking for that and so was the hair at the back of my neck. I was left with a high top when what I wanted was a taper. I felt there was some hostility when I expressed my dissatisfaction a few days later and although I was eventually offered a refund I declined as I did not feel like I wanted to be spoken to in that manner again if I were to go back to the shop. Maybe I should have gotten it though so I could get a wig to cover up the cut. Lesson learned I guess. Update: Its been 2 months and its still not growing into a decent style. Im so disappointed. Especially since I paid for a "master barber" to cut my hair and this is how it came out.

I came in, pretty busy and I wanted to do a appointment but their line was down so that was a bummer, so I walked in everyone was pretty nice and chill they told me to take a seat since I didnt make an appointment and I waited over an hour and a half and never got my hair cut. I would give it a better rating if I actually got a haircut. If it is any good. I guess I would never know. This was my 5th shop I went to that did the same thing on the same day I find it to be very disappointing, I had hope for the shop but they just dont care about there customers especially the new ones who havent gotten a hair cut there before so this ruined my experience here.

I made a 4pm appointment through their website with a guy who seemed the most presentable on a picture. I came in and the atmosphere was very welcoming: music playing, everyone seems nice and all. However, he started 10-15 mins later than the scheduled time and didnt understand what I was trying to say. He was distracting from the work all the time, from chatting with the people around to straight up stepping away to do something else. His manner of behaving at the chair was reckless and careless. When I commented about my haircut got all rude and complaining. Completely dissatisfied with the result. Terrible customer service

Waited a long time to get a haircut so Id have enough hair to work with went in for hair and beard cut and ended up with the right guy my man Tee hooked it up got a fresh cut. After looking on Yelp and Google and everywhere wondering where the best places to get a haircut Im glad I chose this place and I definitely ended up with the right person gave me the right look listen to everything I had to say and wanted to make sure that I got exactly what I had in mind. Really efficient and quick but definitely takes the time to make sure it looks good.

They are pretty friendly, and the wait times for walk-ins arent too bad considering how busy they usually are. A word of advice though, they really only do haircuts for short hair and predominately user trimmers. Dont go in expecting them to trim up shoulder-length or even medium length hair. That said, if you have a shorter style in mind, they do a very good job. They are usually attentive to details of shape and styling and do ask for input during the job. Overall, very good place to go for a haircut (if you have shorter hair)
