Our toddler has been going full time to Happy Times Child Care since she was 5 months old--and we cant imagine a better, safer daycare for her. Lynda, the owner, is a wonderful caregiver who has been in the business for years. She is extremely knowledgeable about child development and has very good programs for kids of all ages. Since this is our first child, we actually took Lyndas lead on many milestone issues such as feeding, naptimes, etc. to really great results. And what really stands out in our opinion is that Lynda (and her awesome staff) are very passionate about what they do. When we were looking for childcare before our daughter was born, we researched dozens of facilities in the area (from the big centers to other home-run businesses). This involved not only visiting the daycares, but also reviewing their files (note to parents: you can call for these at the Alameda County Community Care Licensing Office--but note that you should get the name, address and daycares license # before you call). Happy Times was the only daycare we could find in the Union City-Fremont-Hayward area that did NOT have a prior history of complaints or violations--which is amazing, given that Lyndas been in business for several year. We are so happy with Happy Times and fell that our daughter is getting the best care possible. I had my kids at Happy Times Child care for a total of about 6 years. My kids loved to go there and play, learn and spend time with their friends. Happy Times allows kids to explore their creativity through art and play, to learn through educational preschool style work, and run around through outside play. My kids learned to be friends at Happy Times during playtime, especially how to share and build relationships. Lynda and the staff also of course care for the kids. I remember several times when my kids wanted to stay and eat Lyndas dinners rather than come home to eat. My kids even asked for some of her recipes. The environment is loving, safe, educational and fun for the kids. Kids are happy to be there and parents are lucky to have a good place like Happy TImes to care for their children.

We decided to send our daughter to Happy Times Child Care 2 years ago because we heard good things about it from our friends friend. Our daughter is three and half years old now and we are amazed by the progress she has made over the years. Below are the hightlights of the list. -- She can recognize both uppercase and lower case letters. -- She loves reading books. She looks at the pictures of the book and starts to come up with her own stories. -- She enjoys coloring pictures and tries to draw pictures with circles, dots, lines and squares. -- And MOST OF ALL she is a happy child and eager to learn new things. I would recommend any parents to check out Happy Times Day Care when searching for home-based child care centers.

My Daughter is going in this Daycare since 2 and 1/2 years. We are very pleased with environment and kind of care which is being provided in the daycare. Since it was our first child so we were were careful that our daughter get good loving environment. She goes with a smile in morning , love the staff and is happy when we pick her in evening. We also get daily update about how she ate and how she did. Lynda also follows rules as per the licensing daycare and provides food which is recommended and meet good healthy nutrition. They also get daily assignment and playtime which helps in her learning. I recommend this day care highly. We appreciate the Love and Care being provided in the daycare.

My kids have been at Happy Times Childcare for more than 6 years and I highly recommend it. They staff clearly care for the children. I would even say that Lynda (owner) loves the kids. The kids all really enjoy it in fact my daughter has recently been asking to go to Lynda’s for babysitting on weekends. The range of ages of children has helped my kids understand how to communicate differently and even be a teacher or helper themselves and especially a role model. Lynda takes pride in caring for the children and does a wonderful job with safety, discipline, fun, teaching and care.
