The place has become undesirable, and hires rude employees. I have been going to the shop since I was five years old, they have always been great about prices. They were adamant about doing exactly what we asked. Over the years it has become an uncomfortable, unprofessional environment. I was charged 10 dollars, then 13, and even 15 when I knew the cost was 10. Tips dont come from false prices, although I did not argue. Within the past six months I have had four out of five bad haircuts. My second to last, I voiced my concerns about a very visibly uneven cut. I was immediately scolded for bringing it up, and asked why I had even come back. She told me to find another place to get my hair cut if I didnt like the way it was done. I decided to give it one more try, and was met with a conversation that continuously suggested tipping, and made me decide to leave this place for good. Okay haircuts, terrible employees.

To be honest..every time i go there it is an uncomfortable experience. I dont feel like they pay much attention. I feel the service is very bad. Just the other day i went there and the barber that helped me was really pissed for some reason and made me very uncomfortable since he was grumbling and conplaining the whole time. I was thinking of not even letting him cut my hair. But i gave him a tip afterwards instead. That guy mustve been having a bad day. As far as haircuts come.... The best barbers that have cut me are the women, which is sad for a barber shop. But thats the place i go to for now. I might stop going since they seem to be losing their mojo ever since my favorite barber left.

This barber shop and the 3 other locations are the best place in North San Diego for a haircut. Its a family shop so all are welcomed on a walk-in basis. The prices are VERY reasonable and the stylists/barbers are professional, pleasant to speak with and talented. I have been going to the Oceanside location on Mission Rd. since 1992 and have never been unhappy about anything. You wont wait over 3-4 minutes to get seated unless you want a specific stylist. Take your kids there, your sister, or your gramps.

Love this place, have been coming here for the last 3 years and I have never had a problem. But today I felt robbed, the guy who cut my hair was cool, $10 for a cut and $7 for a beard trim, which is standard pretty much everywhere you go, but the lady that cut my brothers hair charged me $15 for a simple cut.Have the prices changed? or is it a selftip charge?

The barbers are great at what they do but the place is a wreck! Its just so dirty, hair everywhere. The bathroom ceiling is falling down and they dont even have paper towels to dry your hands! Its just absolutely disgusting! I love this barber shop because the barbers are great but please clean and make some repairs!

I come here almost every week. All the barbers are excellent. Prices are the absolute best. Surprised at how low because of the high quality. I have never once had a bad experience. All barbers are very professional especially when children are around.

Worst hair cut ever and my son was in tears and never wants to cut his hair again because of it !! I should not of paid for this cut but I did ! The guy was rude rough and the place is dirty should have waited for the other barber my son is tramatized

Usually get my haircuts here. Barbers are friendly. Prices are surprisingly low. Good ambiance. Wait times are pretty short if you go at the right time. Quality of cuts seems to be pretty consistent across employees.

I went earlier today and my son wanted a short trim and this white skinny lady was like he wanted a short trim but i gave him a long trim and he wanted a 4 on the sides but completely ignored him

Took my twin 2 year old boys in and the lady and guy there were right on the cuts. Both cuts turned out great! Only complaint would be that they do not take cards.
