I normally dont write reviews, but I just wanted to say that I actually really liked my haircut from here. I came in kind of last minute without an appointment or anything, and Leo came over and helped me set up an appointment for an hour later, as the shop seemed to be pretty booked for the rest of the day based on what I saw on the schedule/calendar. I needed to clean up before I started working, and Leo did a great job of listening to the things I was looking for in my cut. He took his time, and he asked for clarification, which I really appreciated. At the end, they give you a straight razor shave, they place a nice hot towel on your face, and then they use one of those old school electric/hand massage tools on your back and neck. Haircuts are $25 and then it was also an additional $5 to trim down my beard, which Leo also did a great job on. I really cant complain about the price, as it seemed worth the cut and the experience. The shop also plays really cool music, and just given the nature and setup of the shop its not one of those awkward type of setups where 20 people are crammed in a tight space sitting in front of you. Ill definitely be back, and Ill ask for Joel again. I also got a few compliments on my cut, which is another plus. Thanks

PLEASE READ ALL OF IT : Look Im going to try to give the most unbiased review. I cut hair as well. When you walk in its a nice place, no doubt about that. It has a modern feel that makes you feel comfortable and they offer you a drink or so while you wait. I went to a guy named Leo (not recommended). And asked for a ,well in there terms ,a medium fade. And my biggest issue was the fact that it was too low and it had one hard line. A good barber makes sure that it is blended in well so that it looks smooth and also because thats what I asked for. Look if Im paying 25 dollars for a hair cut plus a good tip i am going have to get good service. Thats the reason I give it one star. And also because seem too be more concerned of what they think rather than, you, the customer thinks. Not going back and I hope this helps. If you want a good barber shop with quality haircuts look away or maybe try a different barber than the one I had. Last thing I had to go home and fix the haircut myself because I just culouldnt stand it.

*warning* please do not go to this place and drop $30 (including tip) on a hair cut that is not anymore special than any other decent barber shop. For the price of a hair cut I thought Id be getting a B***J** with it but I was wrong. The cut was nothing special. Hooligans in Whittier is much better, also try Fresh Cuts in the City of Industry at least there they dont charge you extra for a straight razor line up. It may look "cool" when you see this place but I promise its not worth $25 for a cut. Sorry. Drop your prices and maybe we can talk.

Great place. I just moved into Whittier. This spot is legit. They take their cutting seriously. Im a bit particular about my cuts. I dont use clippers. Kevin, at my request, used all scissors. The guy was "Edward-Scissor-hands" with his shears. Thanks Kev!
