Patriot Plumbing will always get our business. Patriot genuinely cares about its/their customers and potential customers. If this is not enough of a recommendation, please read on, while it is lengthy, I believe the whole story is important. We had a main line problem and I called a couple of places, and they could not get out for a couple of days (I did not make an appointment). I called Patriot on Friday, and they said that they were booked until Monday, but would fit us in if they had a cancellation. The customer service on the phone was incredible. I scheduled an appointment for Monday. Words cannot describe my comfort level based on the person answering the phone. Remember I did not make appointments with the other two places I called, and it was because I seemed like a bother rather than a customer. Patriot wanted my business, and wanted to solve my problem. In the mean time, I decided that if the wait was 2 days, I could rent a snake from HD and see if I could fix the problem myself. I rented a 75 foot snake, and returned it, HD gave me a 100 ft snake, I also tried this one. Neither snake worked. I resigned myself to having to pay someone to fix the problem. We recieved a phone call at 3:00 PM on Saturday from Patriot. Andrea (I think) said they had a "technician" available who did not have any "work", and since we were local he could be at our house in 1/2 hour. The technician arrived promptly. I remember from looking at the website, that the owner and presidents name of Patriot, was Javier. When the technician introduced himself, I immediately realized he was the owner and president of the company. The owner of the company came out on a Saturday to take care of a customer. I know that most small business owners work extremely long hours taking care of all aspects of the business. I am sure that time to relax is a commodity, yet Javier finished his work and then asked if there was a customer they had for next week that he could go take care of today. Patriot Plumbing believes in giving you their best opinion of the problem based on their 17 years of experience. With this information the technician then gives you the customer the choice as to which course of action to take to solve your problem. Javier explained what the thought the problem was, and what our options were. Knowing that I had already snaked it twice, I knew there was only one choice. I opted for Patriot to clean out the main line with a water jet. While costly it solved the problem, which is what matters most. I had already spent at least 6 hours of my time plus the renting of equipment. We made a choice that we believe would fix the problem. Javier had to go back to the office to get the water jet machine (its huge). While he was gone, I decided to search the internet to see if I could buy the machine cheaper. I found some options but kept wondering, what if they didnt work. I went back and found Patriots website and read the reviews. Upon realizing that Javier answers and thanks his customers personally for their reviews (good or bad), was all I needed to once again be comfortable with my decision. We made the right decision based on Javiers expertise. 180 feet and 4 hours later our problem was solved. Thank you Javier, and Patriot.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Our 10-year old Trane Furnace stopped blowing out hot air with a flashing diagnostic code of four flashes, which means the high limit switch needed to be replaced. We called Patriot and they had a technician come out the next morning which was great response time considering it was cold outside and Im sure a lot of people were having furnace problems. However, this guy walks into the basement and the first thing he points out is that there is some corrosion on our hot water tank over-fill reservoir and starts going into a service upsell skit to try and convince my wife that we need to replace that part (Its 10 degrees outside and our furnace isnt working which is what the service call is for but you the technician are worried about our hot water heater thats only 2 years old). So he finally starts looking at the furnace and comes to the conclusion that the filter was put in backwards when last replaced and some of the filter has been sucked into the furnace so he advises that well need a clean and service, high limit switch replacement, and a new filter. He quotes this at $1,250, with an up sale addition for the water reservoir on the water tank bringing the total to $1,596. Now, Im out of town at the moment for military training and my wife and 8 month old son are trying to deal with this while Im gone. Its 10 degrees outside and now only 40 degrees in our house since theyve been without heat for about 24 hours. As Im talking to the guy over the phone I look up the high limit switch replacement part online which costs only $35.99, and filters are less than that. So I ask him to break down the cost estimate. He says the clean and service is $199 but he cant break down the rest of the estimate because "thats not how they do business." He states that they come and look at the required work and provide an estimate for what they recommend but arent able to itemize how they generate that estimate. Well, by my calculations theres $35.99 for the part, plus say $20 for filter, plus $199 for the clean and service which leaves about $1000 left over for labor for a job that would take less than 1 hour...really? This company apparently thrives by taking advantage of people when theyre stuck between a rock and a hard spot with outside temperatures at 10 degrees and the indoor temp down to 40 degrees. Needless to say we sent him on his way with our $69 service call fee and got another company out who quoted the same repair work at $325 total. That included replacing the limit switch and filter, and the clean and service. I highly recommend that you skip Patriot Plumbing, Drains, Heating & Cooling and move on to the next one because this company will take you for your money.

This review encompasses a year of service with Patriot Enterprises. Last year we were unable to use the furnace. Patriot came out twice, the second time it was clear our furnace was dead. It was going into its 14th year so not a surprise. Since the water heater was the same age, my husband and I decided to get both done at one time. We were comfortable with our decision after a long, very informative discussion with Javier. He was able to answer all of our questions. We scheduled our appointment for that week. That day, there was another family with children and no heat. Our fireplaces were working for us to get heat. We were notified that they had been working through the night and would get to us as soon as that job was finished. Later, that afternoon, Javier was at our house to begin work until his team could make it. (He had worked through the night, and as the owner, representing his company, kept his promise to start on our project.) In the evening, a new crew arrived to finish the job. We were instructed on how to use the thermostat and again questions answered. We did find that our water pressure was off the chart, so our water heater required an adjustment which was explained and approved by us before it was done. I know that everything was completed before 11 pm. I dont know exactly what time because they were quiet while working. When I went downstairs to check things; everything was clean and no one was there. Just like Santa at Christmas. We do have the spring and fall evaluation program with Patriot. The office calls to notify you its time to schedule. The Patriot employee calls before coming, puts on booties when entering the home. Goes about the house with the checklist and reviews it when he is finished. They have ID, are polite and professional. When you call Patriot you get a real live person. The last time I called, Heather had already left, and Joey answered the phone. He was extremely personable. I could tell that scheduling was something he doesnt do all the time. However, rather that have me call back, he was able to schedule me for the date and time I needed. I really appreciated that he went out of his way, so I could cross it off my list and not have to call back. To me, Patriot Enterprises, Inc. from the owner to the employees, performs as more businesses should. They are A+ 5 stars. "Support your local small business owners!"
