This move was a disaster. I would suggest that you read reviews of every moving company before you select one. I understand that accidents will happen in moving, but careless disregard for property is not acceptable when you pay a high premium for a company like United that has had a decent reputation. We selected United Movers as our two prior cross country moves were without incident and we felt that our recent move from Lone Tree, Colorado to Stamford, Connecticut would be fine. We bought full value insurance and listed two high value items for special handling. The movers that brought the items into the apartment in Stamford had already taken photos and listed damaged boxes and furniture before they arrived. They were embarrassed and apologetic for the condition of the items that appeared to have been tossed into the moving truck with little or inadequate wrapping and total disregard for anything marked fragile. Furniture was badly scraped, boxes crushed, glassware broken, a metal plant/lamp stand missing, and a red velvet couch ruined. The special TV box, clearly marked as TV FRAGILE, appeared to have been dragged across a concrete floor. We are not satisfied with the settlement amount that the claims department offered and are appealing and probably will go to arbitration. The red velvet couch is damaged beyond repair and we expect full value for this piece. The move was May 23, 2017. It is August 11. If our settlement is not resolved satisfactorily, I will upload photos in a second posting. The one star is only in order to post this review. I would give this company a minus 5 star review.

Poor customer service. Small, in-town move took all day - the crew was supposed to be 3, but was only 2. Front desk staff at the Jordan location are rude and very difficult to work with. At least 4 pieces of furniture were scratched during the move and unable to get a return call from Johnson to rectify the situation. After the move we were told to call and schedule pick up of our boxes. After 5 attempts to contact someone for this, no one would return our calls or emails. I have moved several times, state-state, in-town, and this was by far the worst experience ever. They only reason they get good reviews is because they give everyone who leaves a good review on google a gift card if they leave a good review, which my husband did, but still has not received the gift card. Use any other moving service and I am sure you will be much happier you did!

I paid for this move out of pocket however felt reassured to use Johnsons since their name was provided by my corporate relocation group. Johnsons had the best estimate out of the four moving companies I contacted and they were the only ones who were willing to work with my schedule and deliver according to my timeline. I moved from Colorado to Pennsylvania and I was surprised and very pleased that the same team both picked up and delivered my things because they were able to reassemble the items, like the flat screen, without any issues. My delivery was in downtown Philadelphia and they also provided shuttle service since delivering in the rig wasnt an option. Everyone I worked with was professional and always returned my calls in a timely manner. This was a very stress free move for me and my family.

We did a local move from Aurora to Centennial with the largest truck available. We had an incredible amount of "stuff" including some very large heavy furniture and two beds that required some disassembly to get out the door. Nick, Ivan, and Roberto were two men short, but they never slowed down. They took the time to wrap or cover our furniture to make sure it was protected and packed well. They put together our two bed sets. They worked extremely hard from 10:30 a.m. to about midnight on a day that was over 90 degrees. Supplying them with some drinks and food was the least I could do. I would recommend these guys again and again. I originally chose this larger company with a flat rate charge rather than a company that charges by the hour in case we had to wait a few hours to unload. In fact we ended up unexpectedly having to wait a few days and werent even sure day to day when wed be able to move in. The guys at Johnson, especially Joe at their Centennial dispatch office, were amazingly supportive despite the uncertainty about the unload date. I really felt like they cared on a human level. The loading/unloading crew were great, efficient and fast and actually took in from the start where I wanted everything so that I didnt have to constantly direct them. I am seriously grateful for their outstanding service during a stressful time.

Went Awesome, the move coordinator, Jae Beatty, sold me from the moment I talked to her, and was the reason I went with them in the first place. Turned out to be a perfect move despite all my previous reservations from horror stories I had heard from others. The packers packed way better than I ever would have, labeled everything, and then the movers came the next day and not a single issue. Our stuff actually showed up earlier than normal(again probably just lucky there) and all in all went about as smooth as possible. Thanks again!

We used Johnson Storage & Moving for an office move. They were excellent! When our move date got pushed out at the last minute they worked with us to schedule it when we needed it done. Their price was the lowest and most inclusive of the three bids we got. Their crews were professional, courteous, and careful. We had one small piece damaged. The claims department was fantastic at walking me through the process and resolving the damage very quickly. I highly recommend them, especially for office moves, it could not have gone smoother!

We recently moved in January. Moving has to be one of the most stressful experiences of my life, especially for an out of state move. My Move Coordinator followed up with me multiple times before my move, during my move, and after. She was incredibly helpful, so thank you Jae Beatty! Jason my driver was also great communicating his arrival from start to finish. Even if something was damaged during the move it was fixed immediately. We were so thankful that we didnt have to wait long for our household items to arrive to our new home!

We had never moved with a large moving company before. But for this move out of state that was the only way we were going to get moved. From our sales representative down the line they were all very informative. They made us feel very comfortable and less stressed. Our driver Jeff, and his crew were awesome. Our furniture was padded and shrink wrapped and very carefully handled. Upon our arrival at our new location everything was put into place and put back together. We would highly recommend this company.

Our moving and storage experience went well. We had great customer service starting with our sales representative and with the packers and movers. Everyone was very friendly and professional. We had to move twice in a short period of time and Johnson delivered as promised. We did have a couple of items that were damaged in the moves, but we purchased the insurance and our items were fixed and replaced quickly without a lot of red tape or follow-up. I would recommend Johnson Moving and Storage!
