They do good work... when they feel like it... First, I have to say that these guys did a nice job on my daughters 2000 New Beetle about a year ago. Especially in matching the very faded metallic green paint. However, my more recent experience with them was horrible. Last July someone backed into the rear corner of my 1993 Porsche 928. Since I had had a previously good experience with them, I went back to Body & Fender for this claim. They took a look at it and agreed with the insurance estimate, but were out to end of October because of hail claims. Fine, I made an appointment for end of October. One week before I was supposed to bring in the car, they called me to tell me they were more delayed than they thought... they rescheduled me for end of January! Fine... Today was the new date. I brought the car down and a different person than had done the previous estimate came out to look at it with me (Jeff). The first thing he said was, "You realize that this bumper cover is not coming off...its a nightmare..." He went on to explain that he felt they could do the repair with the bumper cover on, even though the original estimate called for R&R. I told them to do what they needed to do to fix it. He then asked if I ever intended to have the car repainted, and, if so, maybe I should just save the money for that, instead of fixing the dent. I told him that, no, I wouldnt be able to get the repaint done for a while, and I didnt want that dent in my car in the meantime. I went in to sign the repair order, and he continued going on about how difficult to repair my model of car is and how they were nervous working on them. I said something like, "Youve kept me waiting for six months on this, and I just want it fixed." I left the office, and, a few seconds later, Jeff followed me out, with my keys, and said something like, "You know, we dont want to work on your car." So, end result: they may do some nice work on your car, or they may waste six months of your time because they took on a job they are not comfortable with.

Car still "being repaired due to a fatal crash and technician originally working on my vehicle is no longer working on it due to the "Car Wreck" so new technician had to be assigned to complete the work" This is almost a month after car was dropped off to be repaired and after having called in everyday for the last week and being told everyday that it was either getting paint or getting the alignment the next day I was told "what was actually going on with the repairs on my vehicle." To be expecting to have an issue professionally handled and then to be given a runaround is now costing me a multiple thousand dollar job due to not having my vehicle repaired and returned in a timely fashion with absolutely no regard or even an honest and straightforward explanation any of the multiple times I have spoke with someone which is very much an issue for me as I need to not be losing my customers and the jobs I have lost and am in the process of losing due to the run around this shop is giving me currently. If this status changes and the repairs are completed and finished TODAY MORE than a week after the original timeframe I will adjust this review accordingly but if this continues to be mishandled and if I am continued to be lied to about the status of these repairs this will not be the only poor review you guys will see. Thanks for your PROMPT attention to this matter. UPSET CUSTOMER I have updated this review and changed the star rating due to the work that was completed being done very well I do however urge the business to in future times off much better communication regarding what is going on with clients repairs as I would have been a much happier customer had I just been told right off the bat that my car had slipped through the cracks then I was being told tomorrow and then tomorrow and then Monday when it wasnt that the work was being just then started which is not what I was being told communication is key! Aside from the bad communication though the work was completed and done well so Thanks guys! Aaron

The Body and Fender Shop was fantastic. They work with both StateFarm and USAA. I had my 2014 Honda Civic rear bumper damaged in an rear-ending fender bender. Unlike other places that could not see me for 1-2 months, Body and Fender offered to have me come in for an evaluation the day I called, and was able to work on my car the next week. They had no problem with me running late and dropping off my car an hour later than planned. They quoted me 3 days to repair my vehicle, and had it done in 2 and half. That half day allowed me to pick up my car a day earlier. As an added bonus, I arrived to find my car completely washed and cleaned. They even scraped off the sticker residue from the peeled off dealership sticker. To top it off, they even cleaned the inside of my car too. Overall, The Body and Fender Shop easily earned this 5 star rating, and should I ever need Auto-Body work again, I know who Im going too.

After a major hail storm, I needed a significant amount of several different types of body work done on my car. I learned of The Body and Fender Shop through an acquaintance who spoke highly about quality of work and excellent customer service. I am now a delighted customer. The quality of the work is top notch. The office staff are the nicest people on the planet. They truly care about their customers and their customers vehicles. Everyone went over and above all expectations to repair all of the hail damage on my car and to work with my insurance company on covering the cost. My 12 year-old car looks brand new! Everyone I have talked with who knows of The Body and Fender Shop agree: this is the best place to go in Colorado Springs.

Purchased a used car for my son and put $2,000 into the engine, timing belt, etc. Then got rear-ended. Insurance claimed my car was totaled. Mechanically it was sound but there was enough cosmetic damage I guess. I asked their repair shop for the lowest bid - used parts, nothing new - and it was still more than what the insurance company was paying me for my car. Someone recommended I try The Body and Fender Shop so I called. Jeffs estimate was half of the insurance companys repair shop estimate, and the final bill was within $8.00 of the estimate. Good people to work with, and while I hope I dont have to get any more repair work done I will certainly recommend these folks to others.

I brought my truck into The Body & Fender Shop after getting hit by another driver, the driver side rear quarter panel, tail light, bumper, and tail gate were damaged. Body & Fender Shop had excellent communication with me through the process, letting me know what as going on and what was being done. They handled the entire process with the insurance company and rental agency so I didnt have to do anything. After the repair was completed, my 15 year old truck looked like nothing ever happened to it and actually looked better than it ever has! They even detailed the entire vehicle inside and out! Aaron and Sadie were awesome to work with.
