I have waited to write this review hoping that Jennifer Lane would want to make right the situation. We hired Jennifer for my sons wedding, signed a contract, did everything we needed to do on our part (communication, payment, clearly stating what we were looking for) I contacted Jennifer the week of the wedding to make sure everything was good and we were ready for her the morning of Thursday May 4th, she told me "no, we will be there Friday thats what we agreed on", and said that I had changed my mind when we decided to not go with her for chair rentals, I told her that is not correct, we never changed the day and I was expecting her to be there on Thursday per our contract, I had other vendors coming after her to do finishing work and Friday was not going to work, she said she would see what she could do, needless to say she did not make Thursday work, she said she would bring 8 people and be there Friday morning, she was there Friday morning, she did charge me for 8 people but there were not 8 people there working. I told her if I had broke or changed the contract there would be a monetary penalty but there was nothing for her, we also let her crew use a scissor lift at no cost to erect poles used for draping, if we had not had the lift there I am not sure what she would of done, the ladders they brought would not have worked. After the wedding I contacted Jennifer to try and come to an agreement about what should be done, she did not answer but in the mail I received a "gift certificate" from her for future services, the "gift certificate" is nothing, I would of wanted and expected her to do the right thing. In summary, when you first meet with Jennifer she is great, very pleasant, but if there is an issue she does not own it, and unfortunately the contract is already paid in full so there are limited options. We were disappointed overall in Jennifer Lane Events In response to Jennifer. Never, Never was Thursday discussed as a set up date, and there was more than one place in the contract that said set up would be done and complete on Thursday May 4th 2017, it doesnt matter if they were finished before the wedding, it matters that she did not follow the contract to set up on Thursday, she then tried to put if off that the day changed because of tables and chairs that we did not rent from her, this should of had no impact at all. She is correct that lift was offered IF we were going to do the 2nd room, which once again in the contract we did NOT do the 2nd room so there was NO need to trade the lift, I think its humorous that the ladder was "only" a foot short, it doesnt matter it would NOT of worked. She also is correct that she offered to help with the personal touches, there is a reason theyre called personal touches, its because you want to add it where you want it, its no help to have someone do those tasks. She is correct she sent a "gift certificate" BUT it is in the amount of $450, AND after our experience she was safe sending it because we would never use her again. I did not expect anything that was not in the contract, unfortunately when you pay in full PER THE CONTRACT you dont have much recourse. I would love to share with anyone Jennifer and Is text conversation or the contract that clearly shows none of what she stated is true. I had hoped that after the wedding and I contacted her that she would reply and we could discuss what to do, not by sending a "gift certificate"

Jennifer Lane Events was awesome to work with, I didnt have a clue how to pull an event like this off. They listened to our desires for our staff and resident appreciation event and gave us lots of options and pricing to choose from so we could stay within our desired budget for our Casino theme. On the day of she and her team arrived shortly after lunch to set up the event and turn the dinning hall into a casino and stage for the entertainers. She and her team made sure that everyone had a great time with an Elvis Impersonator, casino games, and a magician. At the end of the night they cleaned everything up and helped get the dinning hall back together for breakfast for the residents. Jennifer and her whole team made the event easy and fun so everyone could enjoy.

My husband and I worked with Jennifer Lane Events to plan our baby shower. They were WONDERFUL! The decorations were exactly what we had in mind. Our guests enjoyed themselves and raved about the games and decor. I would recommend working with this group! Everything was so easy for us. We simply explained what we had in mind and they executed - we just had to show up!
