Very disappointing -- after making reservations two weeks ago for a one-way long range move. I call today to confirm everything - the first person (Laura) I spoke to told me I had to go to another location that was managed by the same place - on Lipan. Then I call back to ask a question regarding price - as it is supposed to be free because of the one-way long range move. When I call back Kelsey tells me she cant access my information because Amy is looking at it. She tells me she will try to figure it out for me - and then proceeds to leave me on hold for nearly 20 minutes. I decide to hang up and call back. When I do, I speak to Mary - we discuss the free month and then what the price will be if I indeed need to keep my stuff their longer ($59.99), and that there will be no other fees charged. Mary also tells me that my reservation is good to go at the Colfax location and all I have to do is show up and get my unit (a 5x5x8). We head down to the Colfax location and were greeted by Austin (who tried to be helpful despite the ridiculous run around we were getting). He told us that he could not look into our reservation because Mary was still "logged" into it - after waiting about 15 minutes he then tells us that there is no unit available at either the Colfax or Lipan location - and then explains that we can go to the 2020 Arapahoe location and they will honor the reservation that we have. (I am like, SERIOUSLY!!!) So we head off to 2020 - after being buzzed in and looking around at the units we sit down to get the paperwork done. We are then told that it is going to be $109 for two months - that there is no deal for us to receive a free month unless we pay for another month upfront (which we had no reason to purchase because we will be moving out stuff to our new place within a month). So SUPER frustrated we decided that we would look into somewhere else. After being super annoyed I called back to speak with Austin - when I told him what had happened he said that he would look into it because that was not how the reservation was supposed to work (yeah, really...?!?!) He said he would call me back as soon as he could. On our way back to the place we are staying (with our full uhaul truck of stuff) I missed his phone call. When I tried to call back - I ended up speaking with Laura again (the person who gave me misinformation earlier in the day...) she said that could not connect me with Austin, and that sometimes they give away peoples reservation (again, SERIOUSLY!!!), and that must have been the problem (even though she told me earlier THAT day that there was a unit available for me). She said that they did have an outside unit, or a 10x10 (that was actually 2 5x5s) - there was a small possibility that her manager could separate the units but she would have to wait to speak to Sam tomorrow. So here I sit with a uhaul full of my stuff that I just trucked over 600 miles - with no place to put it, after I made a reservation over TWO weeks ago. So, yes - I am very annoyed and disappointed with this company. I would never recommend them or refer them to ANYONE!

Ive used this location before and the time prior I used them they were great. This most recent time however was a HUGE hassle. I needed a truck for moving locally, booked ahead of time. They called me the day before my rental to inform me I would have to return the truck early because they had just rented it to someone else. There was no asking they demanded it. I had to find and pay for extra help to make the time they were requiring me to return the vehicle to them. I had my friend pickup the truck for me and they couldnt use the credit card I had reserved the truck with and they insisted I needed to send them pictures of my ID and credit card, way less secure than just taking the card number over the phone. I WILL NEVER USE THIS TERRIBLE LOCATION AGAIN and I warn anyone else thinking of using them to be wary!

I moved across country from Texas to Utah. I had rented a 20 moving truck with an auto transport. Just as we got to the Denver area we started to notice that there was a problem with the auto-transport. I called customer service and they directed me to the Mile High Station for assessment and possible replacement. They guys there (specifically Austin and Oscar) were absolutely awesome! The auto-transport had a cracked weld so they replaced it. When the lights on the new transport wouldnt work the guys crawled around underneath to replace a corroded connection in the wind and the rain so that our trip wouldnt be any more delayed than it was already. Cudos to the staff. I have never had U-Haul staff go above and beyond for me like that and cant say enough about them.

The rental process went smoothly, but staff was unable to or failed to check the vehicle back into the system in a timely manner. (I was told that the computer system was down when I returned the vehicle) Management was unable or unwilling to resolve the matter on site. Corporate complaints department resolved the issue verbally, but failed to resolve anything digitally and I was still charged undue overages. It has taken 5 phone calls to storefront/complaints/billing department, a couple hours of my life, about 50$ in limbo over the course of about a month but Im really starting to feel like Im going to close out that 24 hour contact here really soon! Save time and sanity by going elsewhere.

I made a reservation online in the early afternoon to pick up a truck at 9pm. I arrived at 8:45pm and began the online check in. I was informed the equipment had not been reserved and was directed to call the manager, Falisha. I tried three different times to call her, none of which she answered. Uhaul customer service was unable to help me as she had not reserved the equipment. I wasted an hour of my time and was never able to get the uhaul I had a confirmed reservation for. Unbelievably poor customer service, please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

AVOID this UHAUL - Unfriendly and Pretentious... My bike got a flat and I quietly waited for a ride in front of this U-Haul store during off-business hours. An African-American gentleman with dreadlocks who appeared drunk approached me and asked what I was doing "on his property." (he had a key to get into the door adjacent to the customer entrance). He didnt offer any help and had an attitude with me when I was simply waiting for a ride. I wouldnt plan on renting any services or trucks from them and would check Penske, Ryder, or a diff U-Haul first.

Customer service was great, the guy at the counter answered all my questions and there wasnt any wait to pickup my rental. The absolute best part about this location is they have 24 hour drop off! I rented the van at 3 pm on a Sunday, they close at 5 pm. Instead of rushing to move before they closed, I was able to take my time moving everything as long as I had the rental back by 7 am. Drop off was easy and my brand new car was in the lot almost the entire night with no issues. Highly recommend this location!
