I attended a wedding at St Clements Castle in Portland, Connecticut and decided to have my hair and makeup done professionally at Gugliottis Salon and Spa in Rocky Hill after reading reviews of the local salons. What a find! The salon is beautiful! I was fortunate to have Meaghan and she did an updo and my makeup. I was wearing a floor length navy sequin gown and Meaghan did an amazing job! I highly recommend her! I received so many compliments from my family. We have another wedding coming up and I plan to make an appointment well in advance. I purchased the coral lipgloss that she recommended and I am excited to go back too, to get a facial and hear any other suggestions that she has. Thank you Meaghan for making me feel beautiful at a family wedding! XO

Went there today, I was desperate for a good hair salon, and based on the reviews I found I decided to give this place a try. I had my haircut with Michelle. Asked for a layered haircut, she started cutting and said shed blow dry it to finish doing the layers. There is nothing at all that resembles a layer of hair on me. My hair is jut as straight as it was when I went in. It took me a while to realize why I disliked it so, and thats why I didnt complain while I was still there. I could just kick myself for failing to notice the obvious... I hate this haircut, will have to go somewhere else to see if someone else can fix this...

I am male and decided to have my hair cut here. The first time I had it cut by one of the owners to my satisfaction. The second time I went in I got one of the other girls. I have longer hair so I showed her a picture of what I wanted. I walked out with a Super Cuts hair cut. She couldnt get my hair even so she kept cutting it shorter until she was using a #1 guard on the trimmer. It has now been 3 months of me growing my hair back. Dont make the mistake of using this salon.

I go to Leo at Gugliottis when I need a big change to my hair. He takes the time to listen to what I want, how much I want to fuss, and see what my hair wants to do before making a recommendation and doing his magic. Every employee I have interacted with has been friendly and tried to make me feel special and beautiful. The Rocky Hill location is newer, brighter, and with better parking than the Hartford location.

Beautiful spa. Great people. Best haircuts. I have curly hair and am very particular. They always make me happy. I travel 40 min to get there and have been going for years. Count on them to know the latest and greatest. Highly recommend you try it.
