If you are on the hunt for the BEST dance studio and best dance instruction around, you found it! I have been with Metropolitan for four years (and change) and have loved every single moment Ive spent there. I have SUPER high expectations so the fact that I endorse them so whole-heartedly is truly testament to how wonderful Met is. The entire staff is not only highly accomplished within the Ballroom arena, but respectful, professional and incredibly down to earth. The pros are able to easily adapt for each individual client - with a full range of students from competitive, to wedding couples and social dancers, that is no easy feat! They welcome each client(s) and are eager to help with whatever needs are presented to them. The price is beyond fair and I recommend this studio above any other (yes, Ive tried others.) You will not only leave with more confidence, some nice moves AND a smile on your face, but very likely a lot less stress! :) If you want to dance, call...ASAP...you will be very happy you did! XXOX

Love Metropolitan Dance Center, beautiful studio, wonderful people from the staff to the students. You feel like part of their team from the moment you step in the door to inquire about lessons. Always very fair and accommoding and willing to make things as convenient to your schedule as possible. The students who are fortunate enough to dance with one of Metropolitans professionals are in excellent hands, they are truly interested in you reaching your goals whatever they may be. I highly recommend this studio : ))

Metropolitan Dance Center is a really fantastic place, All the instructors are incredibly friendly and encouraging, so no need to feel nervous or shy if you are a beginner! They teach a variety of classes so youll never be bored, and both the group and private lessons are very informative and fun. Definitely come here if you are looking to learn a routine for something specific, or just want to learn something and have a good time :)

My husband and I love to dance but we do not learn dances quickly! Our instructor, Charlie, was very patient, breaking down the steps for us so we could learn them well. He gave us the confidence to move forward (and backward, and to the side!). The studio is airy and bright and the whole experience was fun! My children gave us these lessons for Mothers Day, and it was a unique and wonderful gift!

Ive been taking lessons with Met Dance for over 4yrs now. Since being with this studio Ive seen a huge improvement! Im meeting my goals while having fun. My instructor knows my goals and helps me achieve them in the best way I personally learn. The environment is friendly and most have become my "dance family". My only negative is that I wish I started my dance career at Met Dance!!

I find all the instructors of the group classes to be, friendly, accommodating and PATIENT! Instruction is well planned and delivered. My private classes with Shane Jensen are perfect. He addresses all the issues I want to deal with to improve my dancing skills. I agree with the previous evaluations describing the studio and atmosphere and I highly recommend the entire center!

Stamfords Metropolitan Dance Studio is the absolute BEST dance studio in the metro New York area! I have danced at other studios and this studio is a "no drama/no high pressure" studio. The teachers are world class, the front office has its act together, the management is highly professional...and the Showcases are not to be missed.
