Im a dental resident in Farmington and I dont have the greatest head of hair in the world so I went around to a couple of different barbers in the area to see if I could find someone I liked. No one, and again I stress No One, cuts a head of hear like Agvitas at Bristle and Blade. My Fiancé loves the way it looks and the fade and clean cut that I get, and I think its a great cut that I can wear into work. Its easy to make an appointment and I always get his full attention when Im in there, and I never have to wait. He gives a fresh shave after the cut and hes a Great guy to talk to for the appointment. Ive recommended him to several friends, I guarantee if you go once youll never go anywhere else!

Great haircut (Danny Martin), nice classic barbershop atmosphere. I also recommend calling ahead. Google maps doesnt have the location just right its actually across Mayflower in the plaza next to Tapas. Very good attention to detail on the cut, and razord up the neckline. Will definitely be back. Also, remember to bring cash (theres a Bank of America right across New Britain Ave if you need it).

Ive gone here twice now, and the barbers are amazing. I recommend calling up beforehand, instead of walking in. Bristle and Blade offers a nice atmosphere and decent espresso as you walk in. This isnt a 15 minutes and youre done place - they really do pay attention to detail. A word of warning, its cash only.

Excellent service and quality. Very professional, you are greeted kindly and offered water or espresso at your arrival. Brian did a GREAT job, he really knows what he is doing. It is worth every Penny! I will definitely go back, I am very satisfied with the experience.

If you want the best cut in the Hartford county go see Avitigus. Some say $28 may be too pricey for a hair cut but Ive been going to him for over 7 years and have never once gotten a bad haircut. If you want to go pay $10 for a hair cut expect to look like a dink.

I really liked my haircut. I like the layout of the barber shop. It is kept clean and the hair cut is styled perfectly to my personal standards. If you want a haircut that you will be proud to show off at an event this is definitely the barber shop for you.

Traveling from the city and in town for a wedding. From one professional to another this place is a rare find. Top notch, seasoned barbers offer a quality cut second to none. Greeted with espresso and great conversation. Id go out of my way for this one.

Immaculate haircut. $28 for a haircut is a bit pricey so it wont be for standard cuts but the complimentary espresso was a nice touch. The owner was very friendly. I would definitely come back for a specialty cut.
