Let me start off by saying the haircut quality is great here. The price is right and people here know how to cut hair. A haircut will take more than 30min to complete because they want to do a good job. Some of them transitioned from a old spot on Baltimore Pike. The review goes sour after that. Waiting 2-3 hours for a haircut is unacceptable. "Homeboys" coming in after you without appointments will get a cut before you. Barbers will walk past you and randomly pick someone and ask if they are being helped even if that kid just came in. No poops given about who came in first. The motto here is, "you snooze, you lose." Im sure getting appointments would resolve the situation, but my schedule is always shifting so I dont really like to confirm to a sure time. This joint seems to lack a "boss" or "manager" unlike the old joint which creates a chaotic structure.

Best barbershop in DE!!! I am a Mother who raves about this shop. I take my sons here and am amazed at the cleanliness, respectful, and talented atmosphere at ace of fades! My family never leaves disappointed. They have a great team and we enjoy our appointments as our barber really listens to our requests and executes them flawlessly. Dont go anywhere else...Aof is your place for not only an awesome cut but a great experience! Fyi:Sometimes there can be a waiting time for the next available barber but that is what an appointment is for. We usually call in a week or two ahead as they fill up fast :)

There is only one phenomenal barber here; the rest are one-trick-ponies and seem very subpar. (They are only used to the standard taper or high-top fade. Proceed with caution if youre looking to get something a little different.) Theres a reason this one barber is constantly booked with appointments day in and day out while the other barbers are generally always available. The prices here are low, so you get what you pay for. If youve ever gotten a cut at a high quality place, youll notice the difference in skill/quality once you get a cut at Ace of Fades.

By far one of the best cuts Ive ever had, showed up at 3pm on a Saturday knowing that they close at 4pm. Was able to get my hair cut after waiting an hour and fourty mins, now Dont get it twisted, I appreciate them staying after hours and cutting me up, but had I known the wait was gone be that long, I wouldve came back Monday. Since this being my fist experience there, I gave it four stars, hoping my next cuts wait wont be as long. They definitely are a five star baber shop, skills on deck!

The hair I got the first time was just perfect. Second time I came cuz I liked the haircut was messed up. Seemed to me like the guy doing what he liked not what I asked for. And theres nobody like to talk about it after its already messed up cuz even if I complained, no one is getting your hair back. So, I just let it go. forgot what the guy name is, but hes the one all the way at the back left side when you enter the shop.

With my experience with aces faders very very very very very long waits for haircut with appointment or without appointment you will be hours for what reason I do not know why its mostly young people thinking this is the place to go but me being a older man knows that there are other places that there will do the saying haircut for cheaper and less time waiting

Best barbering services in the area! I like that everyone knows how to cut no matter who you sit with. They also finish each cut with a straight razor and offer hot towel shaves. If you want to take a look at their work, they make it easy by posting their work on Facebook and Instagram. My son and I will be frequent clients for sure.

Love coming to this barbershop everybody can cut doesnt matter who you get and they use the razor to shape you afterwards to finish you off before hopping out of the chair great facility and staff and prices cheapest around for the amount of time and quality work you come out with a blessing like Vinnie would say.
