Geek ABC helped me recently with my ancient computer that was long in need of replacement. Friends had been telling me to start backing up my important files, and I was reluctant, assuming my computer would give me some warning before becoming entirely unusable. Of course I was wrong. I needed help recovering the files from my hard drive that I feared I may have lost for good. I asked some friends, and one of them had used Geek ABC when he had issues with his computer last year. I called them and explained my issue and they were able to help me. The fee was reasonable, and they worked hard to help me retrieve my files from my hard drive. Thankfully, I didnt lose anything for good, and now that I have a new computer, I backup daily. The service I received from this company was fast, efficient, and courteous. They did what I needed them to do, and I didnt have to pay the ultimate price of losing my data in the end. I will happily hire them again.

I have a custom built cyberpowerPC. After I moved houses my computer started making more noise than usual. This was possibly due to damage during the move. I payed it no regard as it was ot interfering with the PC’s function. After a little while my computer would no longer boot. It showed drive not detected. It turns out that one of my fan blades were broken on the CPU cooler and the heatsink was bent. This was not only causing more noise but was also causing an abnormal amount of vibration in the computer. The only component in the system that is adversely affected by these vibrations is my harddrive. My harddrive failed. Geekabc replaced the harddrive and also replaced my CPU cooler. My computer works fine now and as an added bonus it’s pretty much silent during operation.

highly recommend geekabc. they were very helpful and friendly. im a commuter student that lives in arlington and goes to vcu in richmond. and recently my laptop which is a mac and my desktop was both giving me a lot of problems. it wud take forever to start up and it would randomly freeze and the was really bad. and being a student i dont have time for these type of problems. so i found geekabc and was very impressed by their customer service and how quickly they came out to get both my laptop and desktop fixed. they not only fixed my computers they also gave me suggestions on how to keep it from happening again. the guy that came out was very friendly and professional and i def recommend geekabc

I was trying to do repairs on my laptop on my own and I rather ineptly messed things up even further. While I was opening my laptop I broke the notches that attach the keyboard and now my keyboard is loose and furthermore I broke the keyboard connector, what Geekabcs tech called the “ribbon connector”. They told me that thankfully I did not break the top bezel of the computer when trying to remove the keyboard and a keyboard replacement would fix these issues I created. Not only did they replace the keyboard, they also fixed the original issue I was having (that prompted me to attempt repairs on my own) which was related to the laptops harddrive.

My computer system for my business had crashed and I was stressing out when a friend recommended Geek ABC. At first I thought that there was no way I could retrieve any of my files that I didn’t have hard copies to. So after I made the call their customer service had set up the earliest available time to give me a computer analysis evaluation. Even though I thought they couldn’t repair my system I tried them anyway. But I have to give them credit. Not only were they able to repair my computers but they saved my data that I thought was lost. My stress was put to rest after their professional visit.

I was trying to update my Asus computers BIOs. But, during the process I unluckily had a power outage and my computer would not start anymore. The computer wasnt under warranty anymore so I had very few options. Geekabcs free diagnostics yielded that my BIOs got corrupted as a result of the power outage. Under normal circumstances only manufacturer can fix the BIOs, but they said that they can do BIOs corruption fixes for Asus computers. They fixed it and my computer works fine now. What a relief. They even upgraded my BIOs to the latest version for no additional charge.

We had 12 of our faulty laptops sent down to Geek ABC for fixing. Some of them had only minor issues and some of them hadn’t worked for months. I had called their office to get a quote and the guy i spoke to was very friendly.Three days later, their engineers began work on these systems. I’m really grateful to these guys. They saved me close to 6 grand that would have gone into buying new computers. I would like to recommend this company. Communication with them was fantastic! And of course, they delivered excellent results.

Back in 2012 I bought a new laptop, after about 5 years I guess I got the blue screen of death and once again I didn’t have a computer. A friend of mine recommended Geekabc because she had used them before, I called their number and the next day a technician came to my house to fix my computer. Geekabc’s technician came and managed to fix it within an hour. The service I received was fast and well done, the technician explained what was wrong with my computer and how he fixed it, these guys are really straightforward.

Great experience with this place - not sure what happened to my computer, after going online to marathon my favourite TV shows since netflix doesnt have it, my computer wouldnt stop spazzing and popping up these advertisement links, which was extremely annoying. I couldnt get it to stop in anyway, so had to call up this place, which was a nearby company (conveniently located near a McDonalds, where I sat for an hour while they fixed my computer) Great and fast service, really efficient plus at a very good price too!

Best ever! Brought in my old Mac Pro - RIP and they made my new Mac Pro an exact duplicate. I was so nervous/ being a photographer and having thousands of images I needed to preserve. Got it back the Same day as promised. Several days later they hooked up my 2 new back up drives as I was not able to connect the old ones to the new Mac Pro since Thunderbolt is the new thing. Who knew... Great price for all work and John is definitely my go to person for all of my Mac needs. All good!
