This wonderful business in our city is truly exceptional. From the experienced and friendly staff, to the beautiful Decour which is unmatched in my barbershop/hair salon experience. And I am talking about "real deal" decor with stories behind the pieces. The seating area is extremely comfortable and welcoming , and the overall vibe is what it should be. There are a lot of old-school touches that end up touching you and add your experience at Cape barbershop. In my particular case, Silvana comes from generations of haircutters. She is been cutting my hair for at least 15 years. Perfection every time. The occasional pain in the butt discriminating perfectionist living back in my hometown of New York City would be lining up to have Silvana cut their hair! Charlie and Cheryl do amazing work themselves, as I observe their talents while waiting for Silvana to become available. This establishment is clean, welcoming, and well run, and the most important thing is, they make you look like 1 million bucks, every time. I always look forward to coming to Cape barbershop. That alone is an endorsement, isnt it?

Moved here from Chicago for aiding an ill family member in their final days and decided to look for a bonafide barber like I had back home rather than some bogus chain location with their surly employees misconstruing my head for a piñata needing a swat from some clippers followed by a delightful face scouring with a brush. Havent regretted coming here in the least. Relaxed atmosphere, competent staff (the man who took care of me did an awesome job) and overall are welcoming and friendly to their patrons. Ill definitely be returning for the duration of my stay here/future visits and encourage any reading this to give them a chance at ya. Its worth every cent of their reasonable service charges imo and youll leave without the need for therapy.

Five stars == "Loved it". Why? Well, this particular barber shop has this magical couch. Magical? Yes, magical. If you ever get the chance to sit on this peculiar couch, youll immediately understand. Not even a moment will pass by and youll most likely be snoring. Of course, the overall place is kept nice, decorated, a soothing ambiance. And the barbers themselves practically can manage any haircut and/or hairstyle. My glorious haircut which I go there for on a weekly basis can speak for itself. Although their shop may look somewhat not modern. Believe it or not, they are not trying to avoid the young folks out there. So please, give this barber shop a chance. You will not be disappointed. Did i mention the couch?

Good thing Im only visiting this area and I dont actually live here. Went to this location based off description/reviews and it doesnt live up to the expectations in the slightest. I guess being from NY, my standards for quality hair/beard cuts are a tad higher than those who live in this area. So now I have to complete/fix my beard when I get back to my hotel and I have a wedding to go to tomorrow. My only regret is that there isnt a zero stars option. Glad that this will never be an option for me to come back to again.

We are here in CC for 2 months got my hair cut here twice last year and it was fine. This year I asked for a #3 blade cut all over, does not get any simpler than that. the brunette lady butchered me. One side was a #3 and then she burred the other side to like a #1. Asked her to trim my eyebrows, and she practically burred off them as well. I was reading a magazine and was not paying attention - my big mistake. It she cuts YOUR hair you better be watching or shell butcher YOU too. I am so disappointed with her.

Recently my daughter visited and we took my grand kids out for a ride. It was on a Sunday. While driving by we noticed that Cape Barber Shop was open, and since Nathan needed a haircut we pulled in. It wasnt long before Silvana was cutting his hair (a buzz cut) and all the while keeping him entertained, too. When we got home Nathan couldnt wait to show off his new look to Papa, and also bragging about what a nice barber Silvana was. Thank you so much for making my grandson feel so special!

After constant disappointment bouncing around from salon to salon looking for someone qualified to give a good haircut, I decided to try a barber. After reading these reviews, I decided to give Cape Barber Shop a try. The reviews were right. Best haircut ever. It was even, blended and my hairline was straight. If you dont care about hot towels, shampoos, neck massages, etc., and just want an old fashioned awesome haircut at a very reasonable price, this is the place. Ill be back....

I didnt like anything about this junk . Regretted that as soon as i walked in . Then I finally get seated and he does not give me what i asked for . it was trash . no entertainment just trash . dont go there he messed my haircut up and i wish i went somewhere else . one star to the only male working there . gave me something i didnt ask for and he was trash . tryna take his time for what ? dont go here and good thing i already stopped my two cousins from going here today ✖

The two ladies at the barbershop were awesome they environments pretty cool and shes the owner does a very good job I was impressed and dont be mistaken because they are ladies they still know how to cut hair and mens hair perfectly priced for this area had a very good experience Cilavana was who cut my hair and I was very pleased was in the area on a business trip and needed a haircut and a haircut she gave was by far and A+ in my book will use them again when in town

My very first time I was there was on my birthday. They did a great job, the old fashion way. Then I am all done and I go to pay and they wont take the money. You dont pay for your birthday cut and it was my first time there. Who does that these days, no one but them. I am on my way for my next cut right now and I am looking forward to finally paying them for their services. Still great shop and people. Plus they are handicapped accessible to, what a great feature!!

I had my haircut yesterday. I received a great haircut and enjoyed chatting with a few other customers while I waited. If you are looking for a great haircut and appreciate nostalgia, check this business out. Comfortable seating, great location and wonderful people running the place. LIKE LIKE LIKE PS: Dont believe the phony one star reviews. Those are from competitors trying to hurt this business.

Being from out of town and not knowing where to get a good haircut, I decided on this shop after reading reviews. I wasnt disappointed. Great shop and real friendly atmosphere. Silvana had cut my hair and was able to cut it the way I wanted. Ill definitely be back for my next hair cut. I highly recommend this shop if youre looking for a barber in the Cape.

I have been seeing the owners of this barbershop for many years. Even before they opened up shop on Coronado. There is a reason I go there for me and my sons cuts every month they do a quality job every time. They are always friendly and inviting and I have never felt more comfortable with any barbershop ever in my 38 years on this earth.
