I have had two experiences with this company. In both cases the electricians that came to my home were prompt, professional, and creative thinkers. I had projects bid by other companys and they always left a feeling that they were going to make a mess of my wall or ceiling and leave it to me to hire another contractor to fix. Dunedin Electric came out, provided me options and told me exactly how we could get the job done the way I wanted it with limited damage. Their concern with the finish project during the bidding process is what made me want to work with them initially. Most recently an electrician named Rick came out to install an outlet for my TV. He assessed the situation and got the job done. I didnt have Dunedin Electric price the job beforehand because they were billing me on a time basis and from previous experience they were going to work diligently to get the job done quickly. Rick came out and completed his work in just over an hour (installing an outlet on a concrete wall takes some extra time). He moved quickly and left no damage or mess. Prior to calling them, I received a phone quote from other companys in the range of $250 - $300 for the same job. They wanted me pay a minimum to have them come out and look at the work before giving me a solid price. I paid close to half of the phone quoted price and got the work done quickly and exactly the way I wanted it. I recommend them to anyone I know getting work done. They are profession, fairly priced, and get the job done. I have never felt I was being "nickel and dimed" like I (as a single woman) do with most contractors.

I called to get an estimate on having an outlet installed for a dryer (one did not exist in the home). They came out as scheduled on a Friday morning; however, the technician said it would be probably be at least Monday before he could get me the estimate. On Tuesday I called to see if they had the estimate yet and the technician advised that me he had gone home sick the day before and did not have a chance to put it together yet. That part is understandable, but his attitude was not....I asked how much it would cost and he went ahead and gave me the price. I asked if I had not called how he intended to get me the information...he said he would put it in the mail...mind you, I am not living in the home yet and he was aware of that because the house is being totally remodeled. I asked if he could email it instead and he took down my information and said he would get it right to me. It is now a week later and I STILL dont have the estimate in writing and will be taking my business elsewhere....even if it costs more.

Called last week to get a quote front desk lady seemed annoyed and said someone would call me back, nobody called back. Called again today to get a quote, front desk lady seemed annoyed that I called again and it seemed like she didnt care. She said someone would call me back again. Finally someone left a voicemail for me. It was too late already got a quote and scheduled with another electrician. I guess they didnt want my business.

William was wonderful, professional, knowledgeable and did a great job. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because my initial message left on voicemail to the company went unanswered and it took a week to get an appointment. However, overall, I will be using them going forward based on the very positive experience I had with their electrician, William.

Great service!! I just had Dan out to my new house to look over our electrical. He was very honest and knowledgeable. He gave me great advice on my electrical system and a very reasonable proposal. If you are looking for a company that is reasonably priced and that wont try and sell you services that you dont need then this is the right company for you.

What started off as a minor issue turned into a major issue when I called to speak to the manager of Donnie an electric. The manager was extremely rude and raised his voice at me. Do I need an electric has very poor communication between the staff and the customers and even worse leadership.
