This place is a different experience from most ordinary barbershops....... It a pleasant one. The haircuts are excellent the barbers are friendly and you can tell that they take their craft seriously and are passionate about what they do. Customer Service is the back bone of this establishment, how else could they continue to be successful when their is so much competition in less than a few miles. As I walked in I was greeted with a smile from the man at the front desk and my son received his own greeting, so many places treat children as if they are invisible. The haircut I got was arguably the best I have ever received and was done in less than 30 minutes. This shop is clean, well lit and had multiple flat screen TVs that kept my little man entertained while I was serviced. When I was finished on the way out my son was given a lollipop even though his hair was not cut that day. I have sent multiple family members and friends to this shop and will continue to do so. If you value a great experience then VIP in Davie is where you want to go.

Im from NY and attend NSU right around the corner from the barbershop. Personally, I believe NY has the best barbers. So, when I came down to SoFlo I didnt expect much from any barbershops down here. I would always pass by V.I.P. but never gave it a try. Instead, I would go to different spots far out of my reach in urban areas thinking itll be worth it because I was naive thinking "there cant be good barbers in DAVIE!". Wrong. I havent found a good barbershop for me to call "my own" in SoFlo. But, that changed when I came to V.I.P. They renovated their shop not too long ago. Its welcoming now. Music volume is just right. I dont want to go to a barbershop and hear pins dropping! I wanna be entertained while I wait and/or getting cut up. They have good music, play movies for you while you wait, and they even have a small bar. Great service overall. Ive had a haircut from almost all of the guys and theyre all pretty good. Good group of barbers there. CHECK IT OUT!

VIP barbershop near Davie RD is the example of what all barber shops should be. Clean ,fast, efficient, and most of all provide you with a quality haircut. While all the Barbers possess the skills to give you a great quality hair cut, there is one barber in particular who nails it in precision , skill and getting that NATURAL TAPLINE DOWN TO SHAPING MY BEARD AND GETTING MY BALDING NATURAL HAIR LINE, LOOKING FULL AND RIGHT. HIS NAME IS ALEJANDRO . ALWAYS A WARM GREAT CONVERSATION, FAST (ON TIME) , AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, A PERFECT HAIRCUT. SERIOUSLY MY $20.00 (THAT INCLUDES A $5.00 TIP ) IS COMPLETELY WORTH IT. I learned a long time ago, if you want quality you got to pay for it, and I can stretch my haircut 2 - 4 weeks just because their haircuts are so good. I save money , time and come out of their feeling and looking great. GO TO VIP BARBERSHOP ON DAVIE RD , SW 39TH STREET.

I was over charged for me and my son. The barber in the second chair messed up my tape line and my sons tape line. My son just got a tape in which I was supposed to be charged $7 and hes only 8yrs old. And I was supposed to be charged $12 for a fade no beard included. I still tipped the barber $5 because Im an honorable man. But its a nice shop but unfortunately I will not return. I just moved into this area and I have yet to find a barber shop thats not over crowded and i thought this one fits the bill. Because they werent crowded.

I took my son for his first haircut at 13 months old. Ritch was so incredibly patient with him, he was fine at first but towards the end he cried a lot. We felt so bad interrupting the other barbers with his screams, but everyone was so gracious and patient. The shop is clean, professional and everyone working was super friendly ! They have a lifetime customer now !

This place is great. The only thing is that each barber has their own style of cutting regardless of what you tell them, so youll just have to experiment until you find a barber that suits your specific needs. Other than that, place is kept clean and organized. Atmosphere is really chill and everyone is friendly. Would recommend it to anyone.

Although, I repeatedly asked if my barber was experienced with outlining beards and explained exactly what I wanted - simply edge the outline thats there and razor shave, I left with an uneven thin line for a beard....didnt realize how bad it was until I got home, but lesson learned, never again...

Ive been coming here since they first opened when I was a pre-teen. They have always taken care of me and given me the best cut. They can do all manner of cuts and they are all professionals and great at what they do.
