Just got to experience the Rusty Razor for the first time today. After reading all of their positive reviews online,Id really been wanting to go and check it out. Needless to say I was by no means disappointed, the shop was very friendly (looks very cool as well) and the barber educated me on some new clay product he had that as soon as they get some to sell in the shop Ill be purchasing, because it keeps your hair looking natural and holds very well, all the while staying soft! Just know if youre a walk-in like I was youre going to wait possibly an hour or more. Do not let that discourage you, the reason the wait is so long is because these guys actually take there time and meticulously cut your hair! By all means would recommend to anyone I know.

I had never before received anywhere NEAR the same experience or treatment that I received by Cody at Rusty Razor. He takes time to make sure every last hair of your cut is on point exactly to your liking. Whats even better? He knows your hair better than you do. Recommending styles, cuts, products, treatment, you name it. Demonstrating how to achieve the same day one look each and every day until your next visit. Fantastic atmosphere in a neat back door entrance that is reminiscent of a speak easy, Cody takes passion in his craft the same way an artist would, making sure every moment of your experience and the final result is of the highest quality done by a master. Cant recommend enough.

These guys arent very good at cutting hair and they are cocky. They seem to think they are celebrities and everyone can wait on them. All 3 guys were there, only one was cutting hair when a walk-in came in, they told him that he had to set an appointment online, which he did but they made him wait, I watched this for about an hour as they cut my sons hair. They were doing nothing but talking, couldnt believe it. When my son was, what they call done, he had long hairs on his neck and behind his ears. Wont use them again, the whole experience was very amateur, in no way professional. The barbershop is a nice setting, to bad they ruin the vibe.

Cody has been cutting my hair since before he had his own shop. I used to go to another shop because I new and trusted the person who ran it. One day when i went to get my hair cut the person whom I trusted was not there. The good news is, Cody was... Cody gave me the best haircut I have ever had. The guy loves what he does and it shows. I carry Rustrazor business cards around with me so I can hand them out to people I know and meet. Trust me, if you let Cody cut your hair just one time.... thats it, you wont want to go anywhere else. FYI, it is by an appointment only. Just go to his website and sign up!

By far the best shop in town!!!! This shop exudes noting but chill and positive vibes with a way of making you feel like family as soon you walk through that door. Ive been getting my hair cut just about every week by Cody for a few years now, and I wont let anyone else cut my hair. The shop now has two other great barbers giving each client quality and stylish cuts. Im glad to see this business thriving, and Im looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for them. If youre looking for a high quality cut with welcoming feeling this is the shop to go to. As Cody likes to say...."Stay Handsome Deland".

I know Cody gets busy on saturdays so I made a point to show up 35 min before the shop opened, at about 10:15 someone messaged him and come to find out, the hours changed and hes no longer open. If youre running a business you really need to keep your loyal customers updated with info like this. Sadly since hes now open mon-friday, I will never have a chance to go there. Cody is a great barber, the best, but the bad review is because of lack of communication to his customers.

I had heard great things about the rusty razor and decided to try it out. It was my first real barber shop experience and I couldnt have been happier! I had aaron as my barber and he did a fantastic job! I would highly recommend for any man in DeLand looking for a real barber experience!
