Im a senior out of Suntree. I was hesitant to write this review but it was necessary to share the experience. I was highly referred by my daughter to City Barber on Wickham Rd, so I gave them a try by the gas station, I Gave the barber a simple request to clean me up, I had a few thinning strands on top, not too much to work with up there, but I had plenty on the sides and back, asked the barber for only a little off the sides and clean over the ears, square out the neck, and leave the same length for my Elvis side burns. I dont know what he was thinking but the Barber just went ahead raking the back and took it all off! (Yes Bald) in addition i had not noticed that he had cut me in 2 areas with the razor on the left side of my neck . Once I got home to my daughter EXTREMELY UPSET she got behind the wheel and drove back to the shop to complain. She parks in front of this shop in the Publix plaza further south on Wickham Rd. next to burger king, she tells me to wait 2 minutes in the car. Said she was going in to see the owner. I had no idea what was happening. 3 minutes later my daughter comes out of this shop in tears and asked me if I had gotten my hair cut here at this specific shop. I said no honey this is not the shop I came too, I went to the one next to a gas station further North. The sign said (Rich City Barber Shop) and I specifically asked the guy there, if this was City Barber. Turns out those guys were FIRED a long while ago from this City Barber in the Publix plaza, then they opened up a small shop in a gas station further up Wickham rd. using partially this business owners trade name of (City Barber) and deceiving customers like myself telling customers its the same owner from down on Lake Washington, as they told me!. It was a horrible experience from the start! But the owner of the original (City Barber) was very calm and professional about my daughters accusations and understanding of this whole confusion. He went further to just smile and say We are here for you and this was not the first time hes gotten misleading complaints from other customers like this about that shop, and most likely not going to be the last.... In conclusion, Sorry for my lengthy review, I dont try to hurt small businesses by posting reviews like this, but felt it was necessary to share the experience. Poor business ethics, poor service,....

My boyfrend had a bad experience this morning he went for a hair cut , the owner of the shop told him that you have little gel between your ear and hair and he has to take a shower before he comes in , then my Boyfrend asked him to do number 1 and he did number 2 when he asked him to fade in more , the barber or the owner told him Come on Bro !!! so unprofessional and ineducated what a shame!! then he asked him to leave if he does not like it , indeed my boyfrend try to be nice and asked him if he can do whatever he makes him feel happy to do as his job , the barber replied only if i bold your head with a very descrimante eyes and look , my boyfrend got mad and left right away , i wonder what kind of customer service is this !!!! my boyfrend was so disapointed and comfused as a customer , they call it rich city barber , rich of ineducated immorality and shame to the comunity !!! this is not recomended at all and need to be advised and inspected by the business bureau.

Well I am really picky when it comes to me getting a hair cut, mostly because I have had a barber patch me before lol! So picking a barber shop in a new city was really important to me, after scrolling through comments and reviews I chose Rich City Barber Shop. It was a warm, welcoming, clean enviroment, I wasnt sure on what I wanted but the barber was patient and allow me to explain!! I was a little nervous because firstly Im a girl in a barbershop and not only that my hair is process, some may find that difficult to handle! However the barber assured me of his skills with hair and reminded me that a hair cut is just a hair cut, to my surprise he did a superb job!! I was and still is super happy with the cut!! Again big ups RICH CITY!!

Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Very professional and the best hair cut i have ever had. They take the time to get you the best possible cut and get you looking very clean. Great prices and barbers and even better people. I wont be getting my hair cut anywhere else from now on. I will be recommending them to all my buddies.
