ve been getting some bad haircuts lately and desperetly needed to find someone to do a better job with my hair. Then I read an article on The Shave Barbershop in the news paper Journal saying what a great barber shop it is and thought Id like to try it out, but didnt get around to it. A couple of months later I saw another article in the Ocean Drive Magazine "Best Of". That was the last straw. I just had to try this place out and boy was I glad I did. I was a little intimmidated by the photos, thinking it was going to be some punk rocker hang out where I wouldnt fit it, but I was lucky enough to get Mr. Mani the head barber, whos arms are pretty much completely tatooed. I dont think Ive met a nicer guy here in Miami since I moved here a year and a half ago. There were a couple of early 20s guys in suits getting cuts and another couple guys in jeans and t-shirts waiting. Everyone there was completely normal and made me feel very comfortable. I didnt feel out of place at all. Even though I live in Hialea Im going to be traveling to the South Beach side for my haircuts from now on. Theyve only been open since November 2007 and the only thing Im worried about is too many people finding out about this place and them having trouble fitting me in. One other great thing is that unlike traditional barber shops, they take appointments. Sweet!

Not very friendly. I went in and sat for 30 minutes. Not one word was said to me. Furthermore, there did not seem to be any order as to who got their haircut. I subsequently left and got my haircut elsewhere (Styles) A shame because the barber in the first chair looked like he knew what he was doing. Wow! I cannot believe the response was really from the owner. I visit Miami once a month and have no affiliation to any other business. I do appreciate good customer service which is lacking at this establishment. Believe me, if I cut hair I wouldnt last one day! (and I make much more money than I ever could as a barber) There were only 3 barbers working the day I entered and nobody even acknowledged my presence as a potential customer. I did go to Styles and they were very friendly. The response from the owner just confirms my report. Instead of trying to discount a review, you should use it to better your customer service.

I have heard people travel distances to get a consistent comforting meal . The same I feel that can be said about get a haircut by Yasel, many of times I well hurdle the manic traffic getting off of work to go and get a cut by him. Always keeping me fresh a produce, anytime I want to bring a new cut he always makes it happen fitting my face. I search near and far to find a barber that can do good clipper work and good scissor work. Yasel continues to master his craft! Keep up the good work!

My experience at shaves barbershop was excellent the ambience and all the barbers were very welcoming and the shop was very nice and neat I recommend haircuts with yamel, Abraham and manny , I was in and out the barbers are fast but they dont rush they treat every client like VIP thank you shaves barbershop I found my new location to get a haircut Side note: the music they play is great

Amazing barbershop, super professional and clean. I took my nephew for a haircut there and I was super happy, the babrber Yasel was super good with kids and did an amazing job. The staff is also very attentive. More than happy with my experience here. Will highly recommend it to anyone!

My brother and I went there before a wedding. The place is small and not intimidating. The shave was nice and a great haircut from the lady barber. My skin was smooth and not irritated. Recommend the royal treatment. Highly recommend the Shave Barbershop!!
