My son has been going to this academy for over two years now. The turn over rate is ridicules. The staff is unprofessional and rude. The location is in the heart of OBT and the staff talks poorly about the children and parents to other parents. I even had a staff member tell me that the children bully my son and the other teaches do not do anything about it. They do feed the children but I have requested to refrain for giving my son a specific snack during meal time and they continue to give it to him. Mrs. Shelia (the owner) is never there and does not have a set schedule and if we have an issue we are told to talk to her but its impossible to get ahold of her. I was told my son is violent because he hit a student when we reviewed the cameras he was simply defending himself when another kid was hitting him first. Speaking of cameras, they provide them but when you request to put them on the owner mrs shelia said "ok I will let everyone know you have cameras" I found that very strange as if to warn the staff I will be watching. Also, I have seen on the cameras the staff during the day will leave the children unattended for a few minuets and they begin to play rough. We are actively looking for a new school for our son because as a younger couple we do not believe in the mistreatment and disrespect from the owner and several staff members. I would not recommend this academy for anyone.

Apple Academy is not the best school in Orlando, but it sure is not the worse. Ive had a few problems that occurred and Mr. Markee has addressed them so he says. There is a lot of turn overs in employees some for the best and some are just horrible. The front desk is the worst ever. (Catherine)Dont greet you as you walk in, barley speaks back. She sees you outside and turns her head. Every time you walk thru the door shes on personal phone calls. My son has learned a lot going to Apple Academy thanks to Mrs. C who is no longer there and Mrs. Iris. Mrs. Iris and Mrs. Rosa are awesome along with Mrs. Norma. 2 years of attending this school never met the owners The Whites. I dont think they care to much about their employees. It seems to me its more in it for the money, than caring for the employees and children. Watching other peoples kids can be really hard and intimidating, but thats where the owners need to appreciate and have some type of consideration for their employees. Employees are going to treat their jobs the way their management treats them. I feel thats why the employees are unhappy. A childcare center should feel love, appreciation, and respected. It starts with Management to have a successful Daycare/ School. Good Luck Everyone

Apple Academy has done wonders for my daughter. I had the privilege of staying home with her for the first year, she was very antisocial and always at my hip. But once she started attending this daycare her personality has really blossomed. Her teacher is the best, she truly adores all her students. They always write accident reports no matter if its a scrap on the knee or a bump on the head. They have cameras throughout the facility and are willing to show you what happened if a child has a accident. The price is affordable for any familys income. I was very skeptical at first because the part of town it is in but I have never had any issues being over there. The doors are ALWAYS locked, they have to physically let you in or buzz you in. The hours are super convenient for working familys. They also offer extended care from 6 till midnight. Over all I would recommend this daycare to anybody!

Apple Academy was a horrible experience and a nightmare, My child came back learning nothing but bad words and bad habits, the best thing I did was pay the extra to be able to see the camera thats when I saw kids being thrown by teachers and being pulled in a very rough manor, of course you would mention it to Catherine and it would never be taken care of, Ms Norma and Ms Iris who left and Ms Rosa were the best there, but other than that everyone comes and goes its like every week they have someone new, please dont take your children here I feel like I disappointed my daughter and just sent her to be mentally abused , ohh yeah they also call them names .....like I said it was a nightmare and very scary to the parents that dont even know whats going on there....

My daughter attended VPK at Apple Academy last year. I often worked the evening shift on my job she would have to stay very late some nights. We also had need of a restricted diet due to my daughters food allergies and our personal choices. I always found the staff friendly , loving and very accommodating to our needs. When i enrolled my daughter into a Kindergarten at a very well known public charter school that has a more intense curriculum than most local schools, she was quickly moved into the accelerated class and is performing extremely well. This due to the excellent preparation and individual care and instruction she received at Apple Academy.

After checking 21 plus daycares and showing up unannounced to pick one for my 3 year old daughter Apple Academy was the best that could happen to me and my daughter. At first I got scared with some reviews, then I noticed that the administration I know, is not the same from those reviews. It has been under a new administration for a while now. My daughter loves her teacher and her school, I love the peace of mind of having cameras I can take a look at from my phone, I love to see how much my daughter is learning, the place is always clean, and the staff is always friendly. Im happy I found this school and my daughter is too.

I had both my babies in Apple Academy ( 18mth old and my 7 month old ) and I have to say that this daycare is the best I have seen in a long time!! The staff is very welcoming and very understanding. The director works with parents in every way possible. I had my kids there only for a few months due to moving to a whole different county. I didnt change them until I found another day care around my area so I drove about 4 hours daily just to keep them here at Apple Academy. They have gained my familys trust. I love this center and everything about it!!
