The instructors are nice. Kids had fun. Viewing area is pretty cramped but you can always view from outside the building through the window, weather permitting. Most importantly, however, the front desk has got to get their billing practices in order. I came in on a LivingSocial deal and was even kind enough to buy directly through Avalon Dance instead of through LivingSocial, which saves them money. In good faith I allowed them to keep my CC on file: big mistake. Last attended class on 1/1 and due to family matters and logistical issues, could not go back. My card was charged $118 on 1/15. So I think "No big deal, Ill let them know we cant attend anymore, to not renew the tuition, and theyll reverse the charge". Nope. Not only did they not reverse the charge, they charged me AGAIN two weeks later another $118. So in the end Ive paid $236 for zero classes. Ive sent owner TKea LeGrande several emails about this. Her only response was "come down to the studio and fill out the withdrawal form". I explained to her that I would not be able to come in person and asked her to fax it. Two weeks later, no response, no fax, and no refund. I strongly caution you to not allow them to keep your credit card on file. Im having to go through my bank to get my money back. What a hassle for something that shouldve been simple and enjoyable. Shouldve just gone through LivingSocial instead of trying to save THEM money! A good deed never goes unpunished. I will update you if the company redeems itself! Wish me luck.

I have been searching for a dance studio that accept 2 year olds and that has a schedule that fits with my work and school schedule and finally found one. My daughter loves her dance class at Avalon Dance. I myself enjoy taking her, the teachers and staff are very caring and welcoming. You really get the sense that you are part of the Avalon Dance family between monthly newsletter and different events that the studio participates in. I felt so comfortable at Avalon Dance that even though I have never taken a dance class I decided to take a couple and have really learned a lot and had lots of fun. I recommend Avalon Dance, I live in south Orlando but its worth the drive.

I have been to the Thursday nights adult JAzz class taught by Julie. She started out with an awesome strecth and warm-up and her choreography is very unique and amazing. Whether you have been dancing for years, or have never danced before, this is the clas to take. The studio is located in a really nice area called Avalon Park and there is accessible parking behind and infront of the studio. Another amazing thing is that all the classes are walk-in and you can pay as you go. So you are able to take any class you want, get a feel for it, and then make a decision without having to register on the spot.

I have gone to a few classes myself, and always found the environment to be exciting and helpful for all levels of experienced and non-experienced dancers!!! Additionally, I have recommend my friend who has a 2 year old daughter to dance. She was having a difficult time in finding a studio that would accommodate for a 2 year old, and thanks to Avalon Dance she now takes her child to learn, ballet and tap with Miss Jessica! Great staff and teachers! HIGH RECOMMENDED Avalon Dance Studio!!!!

My daughters have been going to Avalon Dance for over 3 years now. We love it there for many reasons! Tkea, the owner puts her heart and soul into every child and makes sure that they are growing as a dancer. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond for their parents and dancers. This is the place you children should dance if you want them to have excellent lessons, team building experiences and amazing end of the year recitals!

Avalon Dance is like a home away from home for me! I take the adult modern and hip hop classes and hope to check out the new adult ballet class, Miss T is teaching!!!!! I love the staff, the classes and the environment. This is a place where a beginning dancer can learn and flourish and where an experienced dancer can express themselves and grow in their technique as well! I highly recommend AVALON DANCE without fail...Love it!

I stated with just taking my daughter to class here and not only do the kids become a family but the parents get to know each other and help each other out as well. Now I am taking Zumba classes here as well. There is no pressure. All of the staff is so helpful. I cant even begin to tell you about how confident my daughter is now and it carries over into school. She speaks clearly and walks with her head high.

Teaching a room of 2-3 year olds can be like herding cats. The room could be chaos, but, at Avalon Dance the teachers are friendly, kind, and use creative ways to inspire each dancer. This is a perfect place for any introduction to dance. The variety of times works really well for us and the location is just perfect!

our 3 yrd old daughter is in a great intro level class with tap and Ballet and super sweet Teachers- Ms. Michelle has a great way with the young ones :) We are very happy we found this studio !

i agree with everyone here. this is an amazing dance studio! my daughter is in tap and she loves it. she wants to go into modern dancing as well. we are so glad we found this studio.

This place is excellent. I have been going here since it opened for dance lessons and i always feel welcomed when i am at Avalon Dance!!!
