Thank god for Maria. I went in this afternoon with honest-to-god the most tangled, damaged, unmanageable hair ever. Maria was patient and talked me through every step of the process to try and salvage my hair. She gave me a beautiful haircut with great layers to get rid of as much damage as possible while still maintaining my length, as well as some awesome tips for haircare at home. My hair feels silky smooth and I can actually run my fingers through it without breaking a finger. Ive been to some salons where the stylists just give up and hand me the comb because they dont want to deal with my hair. Maria was just absolutely fantastic. She took her time with my hair to make sure I left happy. I didnt have an appointment and I waited less than 3 minutes. The salon itself is beautiful as well. Its located not even a mile from my apartment so the location is perfect. For those of you non-locals, its located right across the street from Sea World, right on I Drive, so its in close proximity to the I Drive hotels. Ill definitely be back in the next 6 months.

Simply Me

Maria is the best hairstylist in Orlando and the State of Florida! I just got my hair cut today, for the fourth time in less than a year, and each time her hair cuts have been fabulous! She is very patient with me, extremely understanding, very friendly and precise at what she does. I highly recommend Maria as she is the superb!!!! I thank GOD for letting me find such a wonderful stylist Maria, she is a blessing! The gentleman who works there is very friendly as well. They make an awesome team! -Angie

While vacationing in Orlando I stopped in for a blow out the staff was so friendly and Maria gave me one of the best blow outs ever!!! They were closing and still let me stay! I loved the brush she used and she said if I could come back the next day she would get one for me to bring home! I went back for another amazing blow out and she had my new brush! I wish I could take Maria with me too I would never have another bad hair day! Thank you guys I will be sure to come see you next visit to Orlando

Trying to find good service anywhere these days can be tough. Finding a great cosmetologist like Maria is an unexpected blessing. Family Hair Salon on International Drive is exceptional. It is a friendly, beautifully maintained and clean environment. Thomas, Maria and Jaimmy are all extremely professional. I felt pampered, relaxed and I left with a haircut that had everyone I know giving me compliments. I highly recommend them for their pleasant demeanor and excellence in their profession!

We were in town on vacation, and both my twin sons (7 yrs old) were in dire need of a cut. The staff there were accomodating, polite, and pleasure to converse with. While my one son waited he was allowed to go on their Netflix acct and watch his choice of cartoons in the lobby. The boys received a custom thunderbolt on the side of their head to prepare them for their trip to TWWOHP! The quality of the boys fade required that I also get touched up! Awesome experience!

Maria does an amazing job every time. I have been going to her ever since she opened the shop on I-Drive and I will be going until one of us leaves :) Best service Ive ever had as an adult at a barber shop, and she always remembers me and I love that! I recommend her to everyone, but you know how people are about their barbers, theyre so loyal, and I understand if they have one as fabulous as Maria.

Maria was awesome! It was my first time getting a haircut here. I didnt make an appointment. I just walked in and was immediately greeted. Maria was able to fit me in between two other appointments. I only had to wait 10 minutes before she could see me and the haircut took only 25 minutes. I got a haircut, eyebrows trimmed, and shampoo for only $20! This is a great place to get a haircut.

Took an uber to get here since my car was in the shop and needed a haircut. When I arrived, the business was closed on a Wednesday at 1130-noon. I waited about a half hour just in case someone was running a bit late. Looking on the website, it didnt notate any special hours and walk ins were welcome. A bit disappointing as I am a new local and was looking for a new salon to frequent.
