This daycare was great in the beginning. Mrs Yolanda is the best part of this whole facility! My child was suspended for hear say. I was told by the owner that if I dont accept the suspension then if a parent comes in and says that my child said one more "bad" word they will kick him out. There are somethings I would understand but the one lady at the front desk when Mrs Yolanda isnt there is very rude! The owner was somewhat understanding but they go straight to the extreme. This all started over my son calling another parent a "booger head".. Wow. They also said that they have been telling my childs mother about my son name calling for the past 2 weeks. Well my children are picked up by their grandfather who asks the teacher everyday how they were. She hasnt said 1 time that he was name calling. The infant room is amazing! I will give them that. They treat my daughter like gold. But they shouldnt just suspend a child of there hasnt been any other record of him " name calling". A few days later. 01/04/2016 we get a call saying that this Google review made it to where they are kicking my children out. So the person who enrolled them being my childrens mother ( we arent together) is being caused all this bs because they are mad over a Google review. Do not bring your children to this daycare. They are terrible and the owner is a complete joke! They wont even talk to you in person. They are cowards who hide behind the people at their front desk! They are more than happy keeping the money that we over paid and are willing to let the kids stay there until this Friday.. Just so they dont lose out on money! This is ridiculous! DONT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!!!

I can only speak to the infant room so far, but our daughter will be going here as long as she needs daycare. When I was looking at centers I noticed a lot of them had infant rooms toward the back - maybe not wanting to showcase crying babies to other parents? - but Discovery Point has the babies right up front. This was a very good sign from the start. The women who work in the infant room really love the babies. I work from home and have picked her up early at all hours and my mother goes weekly in the middle of the day to get her as well. No matter when Ive showed up, they are 100% invested in the babies. If someone isnt feeding or changing a baby, they are playing with or holding them. Everyone who works here is fantastic. They get excited to see my daughter in the mornings - they genuinely care. My daughter wouldnt take a bottle when she started daycare and everyone was amazing at helping us with the problem. They would call us everyday several times a day to give us updates because they knew how hard it was for my husband and I. If my daughter was having a hard day, the woman at the front desk would keep my daughter up there with her and hold her. When I went to pick her up one day and learned she wouldnt eat for quite a while and I started crying, the woman at the front desk hugged me and reassured me it would get better. My daughter was taking a bottle normally within a few days and I cant imagine if the center hadnt been so incredibly helpful.

Do not be fooled by appearances! The owners of this daycare own two Discovery Points. I cant speak for this one, but my son went to the other location just south of this one and I pulled him out in less than a month. My son was an infant and the room was so bright and noisy (14 other babies in ONE room) that he couldnt sleep. I would pick my son up and he would sleep the whole time he was with me! When I mentioned this to his teacher, she told me it was a good thing! The office staff is rude... They actually called me a "Crazy Mom" to my face! Maybe I am, but you dont say that to someone that has there child at your school! They leave the babies in dirty diapers that you can smell when you walk in. They dont wipe the babies runny noses, just look and you will see caked on, dried up boogers... The poor babies! The day I pulled my son out, I found him wearing an outfit covered in spit up, no one had even changed him! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE! They put on a good show, but if you stay for more than 5 minutes, you will be surprised what you see... and just how fast they want to rush you out the door!

We changed schools to here about 3 months ago, and we keep kicking our self for not doing it earlier. The place is super clean, they always have more than the state required teachers, and our son loves it. He is excited to go in the morning, and doesnt want to leave his teachers at night. He is 1 1/2 and was talking and doing so much more than he was while at the other school. Owners are on site, and seem to always care more about whats right than whats cheap. At our old school they would send home list of things they needed, even simple items like tissue or batteries. We asked one of his teachers here if they had anything they needed for the class and she looked at us confused. When my wife asked what the teachers do when they need supplies, she just looked at my wife and said, tell the owners and they get it, why would we ask the parents to buy our supplies.

I just want to thank the wonderful staff and teachers at Discovery Point in Symmes for taking care of my baby girl, Mia, like she was their own. I was so lucky to find you and I know my baby loved going there every day. The teachers in the infant room are just amazing and loving, which is what I was looking for in a daycare. Thanks for always listening to our questions, for being so flexible and above all, for taking care of my baby girl. I highly recommend this center! We will miss seeing you every day! Every day we walk in this center it smell very clean or thier food smell great. I child love to wake up to go to this center very day. And my child has not been sick, I think its due to the all the clean that take place, Also the infant are hardly never cry and their classroom is locate next to the front lobby. The teacher at this Discovery Point are always so happy and so friendly with parents.

Im so glad to find a daycare that is so loving and caring. The place is very clean and organized. Each age have their section especially infant and toddlers. I will not find better than this daycare. You will know when you leave your kid that it is in a safe, loving environment. Also, front desk are very helpful and friendly.
