Im leaving this review, because the incredibly high rating is what made me come into this shop; and, I want to set expectations for other women seeking something small. You see, I typically go to salons; but, see a barber every couple months for a quality taper. Until now, Ive never been disappointed. I saw Montie, and he was awesomely professional. Upon seating me and discussing what I wanted, he acted as though he clearly understood. He apparently didnt, because my request to have it low around the neck, cut around my ears, and as long as possible on top turned into him cutting 3 inches off and leaving it longer on one side. After getting home and seeing my hair in better light, I hated the amount he took off, but wanted even hair. So, I called back and asked him to fix it. Again, he was amazingly professional and invited me right back in for the fix and a refund. I came back not even wanting the money, because everyone deserves to be compensated for their work, and he clearly wanted to make me happy. As he humbly greeted me, I told him I was unhappy with the amount he cut and made clear I only wanted my sides to be even. Again, after acting as though he understood, my request clearly fell on deaf ears - he tapered one side flat and left the other side with one inch layers. After seeing how upset I was, he immediately refunded my payment and apologized profusely - I could tell he really cared - but I was so upset I just went ahead and accepted the money back. I still cant believe he cut all my hair off after I gave clear instructions not to. I wont be going back for the sheer fact that I didnt ask for his artistic interpretation, rather, I told him exactly what to do and ended up crying on the way home. For those seeking someone to freestyle something hot, Montie definitely has the skill and technique to do it; but, short haired ladies, be warned. This isnt the place for a small touch up to your style.

Came in to get a hot shave and left a very happy customer. Eric did an amazing job and his customer service was phenomenal as well. Before I started shaving my head to support a friend diagnosed with cancer, I would go to salons to have my hair done. They always push people out and never seem to care if clients are happy and relaxed. That doesnt happen here. Not only does my head look great and feel silky smooth, but I got to relax and unwind after a rough day of work. I also enjoyed the music, atmosphere, and I like that they make their own organic products. I will definitely be picking up some of those next time. Thank you Eric for taking such great care of me! I will definitely be back!

Great barbershop… as long as you can find it. The barbers Eric & Randall are both welcoming & very professional. Ive been in Atlanta for a bit over three years now & I can easily say this is overall my favorite shop. Hidden in the middle of downtown Atlanta next to Michaels Cafe they take great care & genuinely care about the look youre going for. Im recommending all my friends & colleagues here.

Eric is a master of his craft. I came in after two months of letting my hair grow out (botched attempt by another barber) and Eric set me straight. I left his shop looking like a crisp $100 bill. Eric is very talented in the classic razor shave and that is the main reason I go to him. Ive lived in Atlanta for 8 years and the best haircuts and shaves Ive had were done by him. Highly recommended.

Awesome place to get your hair cut, very friendly,very professional, very clean and really reasonable price. They treated us like they had known us all our lives. We showed Randall a picture of what we wanted it to look like and he went to town and it looked awesome. If we are ever in the Atlanta area again we will make sure we patronize this establishment again. Dont ever hesitate going here.

Monty and the small crew of 2 are the best barbers in the city. Call for an appointment. Small quaint shop 3 barbers. Only con is its located downtown and you have to find a spot to park n pay.
